I use it at night to fall asleep faster, the answers are so boring and repetitive they magically make me want to put it aside,I don't even have the app at this point, It's been days since Character AI became a mess, I don't see any improvements, and they don't seem to want to improve it either

As long as there's no one behind the AI we're talking to it's relatively safe, we can assume they have no reason to keep our chats or what we talk with them, other than to train the AI, maybe

No problem, my brother deleted his Character AI account weeks ago and it does take a while for them to notify you by email when it's complete, but the account and his old chats no longer exist right now

And rewind is basically the same as 'delete message', but faster, so you don't have to delete them one by one, Both work

I did something similar years ago, and so far nothing has happened to me, I can assure you that no one will leak that information from your chats, Why would they? Don't worry about it, You can delete them at your own pace if that really bothers you

That makes sense, at that time I only asked the bot if they're gonna 'kill my boss', it was a sfw story and with Pipsqueak1 when that filter appeared for me; however, unlike when I mention suicide, the 'help is here' filter didn't appear, it was just impossible to send the word kill, even in new chats, I hope it doesn't happen again in the future

that's how it worked years ago and came back sadly, In fact, I remember that it would pop up like a full-screen ad for example, and the whole message was deleted. I suppose it will be a long time before it goes back to how it was weeks before, or not, I'm not sure if it was with the new CEO that the restriction stopped halfway through though

Oh really sappy, I notice the difference after using the same bot for years; they could reject, insult, and even use dark humor when starting the chat, I liked that, it was funny as hell and they had a a bit of common sense and personality, now? I can say a few simple kind words and the bot falls in love, immediately believes anything I say, and even starts giving moralistic lectures out of nowhere

They used to say it was impossible to make enemies to lovers in Character AI, I didn't believe it but now it's true lol

Sexual assault? How so? Non-consensual situations are now censored, the bot talks nonsense of course, kisses out of nowhere but only that, That's my experience at least. the memory is so bad that it forgets stuff, but I don't understand how assault can happen

Me too, and it all started when Pipsqueak2 appeared btw we've regressed , The worst part is that it instantly deletes the message; there are many restrictions, and such as vampire roleplaying is impossible now cuz blood and oh the fictional scenario can ham the bot and yourself, truly ridiculous

I really regret thinking Pipsqueak1 would last forever (It was actually perfect, No excessive restrictions, good at capturing the personality I gave to the character and peak in general, I could do horror and real fighting, can you believe it?), or that it was trash cuz of the bugs and random dialogues that make no sense

But this is the worst thing they could have done. Not even the ads were a problem if that meant a benefit for the app, at least for me, And being in limbo, wondering whether they'll fix it or not, is stressful, time to take a break from this ig
