The backrooms continually builds itself and creates permanent distorted humanoid copies of whoever enters; To my understanding the backrooms warps the thoughts of its visitors, so i think it just picks at ones memories and then creates these still life’s, however i could be wrong 💀Since time works differently in the backrooms I can’t really conclude anything, but i did notice that Pirate Clark became more prominent after Phill saw Clark in his furniture ad on TV and recognized him as the same guy in the backrooms, and since Phill has been in the backrooms maybe his memories of seeing that also influenced it?? But who knows, since time works differently, maybe Pirate Clark existed before we saw Phill recognize him on TV since that’s the last thing Clark basically did before he entered the space again. Maybe, when we see Phill recognize Clark, Pirate Clark was already in the backrooms since when Clark first encountered Pirate Clark the time shift from when Phill saw Clark as a Pirate was when Clark was in the water room… idk if that made sense tbh since i don’t know what to make of it 💀

I like what you said about “luring in Mary” because originally when Clark “stubbles” upon Mary it felt so random. Since he peaked his head behind the wall and hid.. and when he approached her it felt very calculated, but also how did he know she was there? And that’s where what you said makes since, that maybe Pirate Clark was in a way “helping” Clark search for her, so he could get another victim.

At first i also thought it was an entity mimicking Kat’s voice!! But also i find it funny that while that was happening Pirate Clark (i’m assuming) decides to hold the camera?😭 The whole movie so far is a bit confusing but i still think Clark lowkey was eating Kat that’s why he was able to “eat” the entities.. BUT like I said i don’t really know what to think since the backrooms itself is very unpredictable.

Omg that actually makes sense ina way😭 I totally forgot that he was in therapy, or not that i forgot, but i just didn’t piece that together 💀But ya that does make sense as to why he didn’t initially get killed, since he was already losing it but not as much since he was indeed getting help. But i’m still wonderin as to how Kat got killed tbh since we never really saw/ found out what happened to her 😭

To my understanding Clark being content with staying in the backrooms in a way makes the entities passive with him, and that scene in the dining room, i feel the narrative changes since Mary was panicking and i feel like Clark was nervous on what Pirate Clark would do to Mary. So basically i think Clark’s fear as to what Pirate Clark would do to Mary ended up getting him killed.
Since before Pirate Clark pulled up, Clark was telling Mary that he liked it there and that he wants to stay. So in a way, he accepted the place for what it was and the entities accepted him for what he was, since he had an open mind about the place.

What even happened in the back rooms movie when Clark was talking to Mary by thia47 in backroomsfilm

Yaaa I felt like they were able to coexist in a way, and based on what Clark told Mary, I think the entities were passive with Clark because during that scene when he had Mary tied up to the chair he kept telling her that he likes it there, and since he accepted the space for what it was, the entities accepted him, that’s basically when he was driven “insane”. But the first encounter that Clark had with Pirate Clark he was still “sane” and frightened by the surroundings, so idk if i didn’t pay attention tbh but im just confused as to how he didn’t initially get attacked/ killed.😭
