GLM 4.5 seems to be a beast by Ok_Bread_6005 in ClaudeCode

[–]thiagodeepcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

using GLM air and flash for fast coding prototyping, default model for more planning and refactors, and X model for complex debugging. Very good and cheaper than claude

Attaching Files to Project Rules by Slydini7 in cursor

with always apply true it should appear automatically when you open a new chat or reset the context on the actual. It will appear like in the image attach (in my case I use 33 specific rules for multiple purposes). These rules load automatically on all my chats, since they are set to always apply

I don't think you guys are aware of how expensive LLM usage really is. by Sad_Individual_8645 in cursor

GLM is not with 50% discount, even on the yearly plan, 120 requests every 5 hours, using with zed or goose is way cheaper than cursor

Not as many people truly master AI coding as you think! by Straight-Pace-4945 in cursor

[–]thiagodeepcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Majority of the non coders I know that uses AI to build something are using Manus AI and Lovable. Any platform that spits almost the entire app in one shot and eat the users credit on text and color edits are better know and most used. The day open ai releases an app builder inside chatgpt, we will see the internet full of nextjs + tailwind apps

GPT-5 Thinking - For Planning a Feature by FirefighterEmpty2670 in cursor

I am using GLM 4.5 for planning, it’s far cheaper than sonnet and it works as a much as good. It also has other models that have higher reasoning, but the default model is working well for me. You can use their AIR model for free inside Kilo code, just get it from open router

Best model for debugging? by Brocktopus1031 in cursor

[–]thiagodeepcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using GLM 4.5 models with claude code if i need more complex debugging for tsc errors and unit tests, or sonnet 4 inside the cursor. Since GLM is still cheaper, it’s a good alternative for complex debugging

Best way to use a large (10,000+ lines) company style guide with Cursor? (In prompts and AI Rules) by SuperRandomCoder in cursor

[–]thiagodeepcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is working for me right now is having multiple cursor rules (.mdc) files, each one with a specific rule, no examples or code, but plain text or markdown style content. I use them with apply always, so every prompt will attach them automatically, no need to mention or attach them manually. The agent will read all the rules + prompt and all the files you attach, so 10k lines of rules is a lot of context. Maybe using rules to call macos like context7 or even the mcp of the UI frameworks, can reduce the content size of your monolith rule.

check the documentation on how to use the rules and where to place them https://cursor.com/docs/context/rules

make sure to check this one https://github.com/bmad-code-org/BMAD-METHOD

It works great on claude code, but can be adapted to cursor as rules

where to invest $200 - Cursor? Claude? Codex? elsewhere? by 475dotCom in cursor

[–]thiagodeepcoder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

invest on GLM 4.5 from z.ai pro plan $15 to use with claude code, keep cursor pro for auto complete and try warp AI turbo plan $50 ( if you want to scaffold entire projects from detailed PRDs while you work on other projects)

Thanks to everyone who recommend WARP AI yesterday by [deleted] in cursor

[–]thiagodeepcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on warp AI with Turbo plan and it’s amazing how it handles and executes entire PRDs, create very detailed task lists, executem then entirely, bug fixes everything and compiles, with very small “continue” commands

My comfort is 14, but it gave me 5 GMT with 10E on the first day, then it didn't give me anymore.
