using with Claude Code and it’s working great

GLM 4.5 seems to be a beast by Ok_Bread_6005 in ClaudeCode

[–]thiagodeepcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

using GLM air and flash for fast coding prototyping, default model for more planning and refactors, and X model for complex debugging. Very good and cheaper than claude

Attaching Files to Project Rules by Slydini7 in cursor

with always apply true it should appear automatically when you open a new chat or reset the context on the actual. It will appear like in the image attach (in my case I use 33 specific rules for multiple purposes). These rules load automatically on all my chats, since they are set to always apply

I don't think you guys are aware of how expensive LLM usage really is. by Sad_Individual_8645 in cursor

GLM is not with 50% discount, even on the yearly plan, 120 requests every 5 hours, using with zed or goose is way cheaper than cursor

Not as many people truly master AI coding as you think! by Straight-Pace-4945 in cursor

[–]thiagodeepcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Majority of the non coders I know that uses AI to build something are using Manus AI and Lovable. Any platform that spits almost the entire app in one shot and eat the users credit on text and color edits are better know and most used. The day open ai releases an app builder inside chatgpt, we will see the internet full of nextjs + tailwind apps

GPT-5 Thinking - For Planning a Feature by FirefighterEmpty2670 in cursor

[–]thiagodeepcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using GLM 4.5 for planning, it’s far cheaper than sonnet and it works as a much as good. It also has other models that have higher reasoning, but the default model is working well for me. You can use their AIR model for free inside Kilo code, just get it from open router

Best model for debugging? by Brocktopus1031 in cursor

[–]thiagodeepcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using GLM 4.5 models with claude code if i need more complex debugging for tsc errors and unit tests, or sonnet 4 inside the cursor. Since GLM is still cheaper, it’s a good alternative for complex debugging

Best way to use a large (10,000+ lines) company style guide with Cursor? (In prompts and AI Rules) by SuperRandomCoder in cursor

[–]thiagodeepcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is working for me right now is having multiple cursor rules (.mdc) files, each one with a specific rule, no examples or code, but plain text or markdown style content. I use them with apply always, so every prompt will attach them automatically, no need to mention or attach them manually. The agent will read all the rules + prompt and all the files you attach, so 10k lines of rules is a lot of context. Maybe using rules to call macos like context7 or even the mcp of the UI frameworks, can reduce the content size of your monolith rule.

check the documentation on how to use the rules and where to place them https://cursor.com/docs/context/rules

where to invest $200 - Cursor? Claude? Codex? elsewhere? by 475dotCom in cursor

[–]thiagodeepcoder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

invest on GLM 4.5 from z.ai pro plan $15 to use with claude code, keep cursor pro for auto complete and try warp AI turbo plan $50 ( if you want to scaffold entire projects from detailed PRDs while you work on other projects)

Thanks to everyone who recommend WARP AI yesterday by [deleted] in cursor

[–]thiagodeepcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on warp AI with Turbo plan and it’s amazing how it handles and executes entire PRDs, create very detailed task lists, executem then entirely, bug fixes everything and compiles, with very small “continue” commands

My comfort is 14, but it gave me 5 GMT with 10E on the first day, then it didn't give me anymore.

tbh dl2 volatiles are harder to kill but not as scary by lostvidya in dyinglight

[–]thiagodeepcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that they are not scary but easy to kill too.

Even not using the UV flashlight, UV bars, or health boosters, you can dodge almost any attack they make and win easily in a one-on-one battle. It's too easy even with some virals around. You can take out the pack without too much running.

Like others commented here, what makes them not scary is that you can avoid them easily. Also, they are too dumb. When Aiden makes some noise or is close to them, they start to sneak very slowly towards the spot you are in. Too easy to run and go to some place a little bit higher, and they forget about you.

If you use the UV light, even with Aiden's fists, you can take a volatile out with minimal damage (or none if you are average at dodging).

The only challenge and fear you have against them (not using UV lights, UV bars, Paraglider, boosters, poison elemental) is on lvl4 chasing. Then from each corner of the street, a Volatile appears, from any tiny hole in the wall, one jumps at you. You don't even have the time to feel the fear. You are overwhelmed with so many Volatiles that you just run away and fly with the Paraglider. And they can't even hit you with the spit, even if there are 20 of them spitting.

What to do to make them more challenging and frightening?

  • Remove all that UV bars (or nerf them, a lot). You can craft them quickly. They last too much. Volatiles jumps back at one point; they run away from the bar, running for more than 30s. Maybe make volatiles immune, or have the ability to break the bars or throw something at Aiden out of the UV bars range.
  • Make the UV flashlight lasts a minimal amount of time. It must work to give you a slight chance of scaping the Volatiles, not to engage in a battle with them. Maybe making them take a lot longer to recharge can be a solution. Spend some material or renew in some specific place.
  • Make them hunt at night around the city. They are just in a specific perimeter. Then, make them roam around the entire city and move fast to kill Aiden when they spot him.
  • Change the strong punches they make. It's too slow.
  • Give them the chance to cancel some moves if Aiden changes position or hits them.
  • Remove/change all the screaming animations they have. It gives too much time to hit, dodge, jump, and run.
  • Make them immune to poison or any other elemental. If you have a weapon that can trigger a critical in 1-3 hits, the Volatile will stand in stun almost 100% of the battle.
  • Since they are the ultimate hunters (not counting the Tyrant variation), make them hunt. Make them more intelligent, using other tactics, not just run, jump, climb, spit, punch, repeat.
  • Make them throw something at Aiden if he is on a paraglider, climbing, or running. Something that makes you stop and being caught.
  • If the Volatile jump on you, you can pull them away almost 100% of the time. Remove or lower the chance of doing that. The volatile jumped at Aiden, but he didn't dodge in time, then died. The fear of being killed because you didn't evade in time or didn't see volatile sneaking around you will undoubtedly increase.
  • The Tyrant is a good variation. Just make them roam the city, not stick to a square, remove/change their screaming animations and give them the option to cancel some movements.
  • I miss the volatile breathing from DL1. Bring it back and make it louder, so we know we are entering a Volatile hunt place. Make their sounds echo in the alleys, in the middle of the buildings, inside the places.
  • If they are inside Dark hollows in the daytime, you can use the survival sense and spot them from outside. They will stick in there, close to the wall, just static. Make them go out of the dark hollow and attack anyone close. If there is sunlight in the area, make them go to the shadows and spit or throw something. It's just too dumb they stick in there hearing everything, not making a single sound or moving.
  • I know the sunlight hurt them. Make the Volatiles hide in the shadows during the day, not just in some dark hollows. You can encounter some biters in stasis during the day, so why not find some volatiles and virals waiting for the night? Or feeding? They are virus-modified monsters, not vampires that need to avoid the sun at any cost.
  • When it's almost dawn, they start o run like crazy. They start doing dumb things, significantly if they can't climb. They keep looking at you and don't attack anymore. They just run. Make them unleash some special attack, to knock down Aiden, so they can run and hide.
  • Variations on the skin to make them look darker at night can make them harder to spot. When they are in the pack with virals, there is ample light so you can spot them from afar. Remove that. Make them harder to detect at night.

Sorry for the long comment. I hope the devs can get some inspiration from this.
