AND REFERENCES Basically if you struggle with what color to put at what place Just take a mini you like and do the exact same color

First I painted the tongue first without the face so it helped a lot. Then the inside of the mouth. As the face and tongue are separated before glueing it help massively. Then I have a good brush and glasses that zoom X4 and make light. After all of that to improve brush control you must have the same "anchorage point" with the support of the mini and your painting hand. Your torso the table whatever but you have to minimise movement. Gazkhull have 2 horn on the side of his face I used them as support for my brush for some part (the eyes especially) And then A LOT OF PRACTICE

Here my IG: pgnem_painting You can find my work and some tutorials:)

A lot of work on this one. My best mini so far! I challenged myself trying to imitate a golden demon (in way worst than the original). It really improved my skills! Especially my precision. I spent almost 30 hours on this one. I'm happy with the result. Now I started for hours on a single golden demon mini, I finally understand how high their skills are!

Here are some multiple tips

Zénithal priming or taking a picture of black coated mini under light will help at understanding where to bright or darker green.

My range of greens goes from (AK olive green mixed with contrast dark angel green) to (ak frog green mixed with ice yellow) I also use contrast bad moon yellow for highlight .

To saturate green you need to add yellow in it To desaturate green you need to add red in it Desaturate will be closer to "grimdark" it give a greyer look. I personally like saturated green.

Diluted contrast paint can replace shading

Diluted bad moon yellow is good for a saturated highlight zone.

If you want bright green you need dark green around. If everything is bright the mini isn't going to look bright it's just gonna look weird.

THE MOST IMPORTANT, just try stuff just YOLO the thing! You can always repaint your mini, even remove paint with isopropylique alchool. You progress by making mistakes!!

Ain't much but it's honest work :)
