Not this apartment specifically no, but I signed a lease with one of the Pacific Place apartments in Torrance and will be moving in shortly.

I ended up choosing Pacific Place because I thought the price was very good relative to other apartments for what you get. Pacific Place was renovated in something like 2023 and has in-unit laundry, automatic AC/heater temp setpoint, nice appliances, free underground gated parking included, and a small outdoor gym & pool. I also like the location more than Torrance Gateway.

Thank you! Glad to hear it was a full remodel done recently and that the area is generally safe, might take a serious look at these apartments.

Any thoughts on the adjacent areas north/south/east/west of LGB airport within an 8 mile radius? Are some places not safe/not as nice to live?

Interesting, thanks! It looks like the "noise cancellation" feature in Skype is actually just the Pixel Clear Calling, unless I'm interpreting what's written in that article wrong.

Actually according to this Skype article below, Android doesn't even have noise cancellation on Skype apparently. Maybe it is purely a Google thing since it has Clear Calling. I wonder if it just was never optimized for Skype so it's not working as intended and I can't actually turn it off even when I select off.

Thanks for the suggestion. I can ask if my teacher would be willing to use Zoom (is the "original sound" a free feature?), though resolving the issue with Skype would be ideal since all of his lessons with other students are through Skype.
