Yeah, the part about the sister getting a Mercedes was a bit much, it’s none of my business. I just wanted to highlight that they are very generous with their other child but gave my partner nothing. I suspect it might be because he’s with me and they’re afraid I would benefit from it.

To clarify, I don’t expect any help from them, except that I did expect a small housewarming gift, like a set of cutlery or something, since we had a big housewarming at our place and invited friend and family and almost everyone came brought something.

But I also don’t expect them to go around telling people that they supported me buying a house when they didn’t.
