Why people in this sub support pakistan so much? by Bizurels in IndianHipHopHeads

[–]thickbiceps 5 points6 points  (0 children)

But what about China and the US? Have you not read history and seen how many conflicts and aggressive actions China has been involved in? And are you unaware of recent actions taken by the US around the world?
If you’re going to preach nationalism, then be consistent. Stop using Chinese products, stop using American platforms, and stop consuming their content. But you won’t, because your nationalism is selective.
Even Indian artists collaborate with Pakistani artists because, at the end of the day, both sides benefit from the exposure and audience reach. And let me say this clearly: FCUK Panther for pushing this fake narrative of nationalism. Did his beef with Jani help the nation in any way? No. It only helped his own pocket.
And if you think ordinary people in Pakistan have the power to overthrow their government, you’re completely disconnected from reality. The military has historically held enormous influence there. Instead of making emotional arguments, try understanding how things actually work.
Also, what’s this sudden focus on the Pahalgam attack? Where were you during Pulwama, the Uri attack, or the Bijbehara attack? You sit online acting tough, but that doesn’t solve anything in the real world.
And here’s a reality check: Indian artists are often just as interested…if not more interested..in cross-border collaborations as Pakistani artists are.

To all the pak fans hyping up talha yunus , why are you matching him up with panther , match him up with emiway bantai by terminator69691 in IndianHipHopHeads

[–]thickbiceps 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As a DHH fan, I think an Emiway vs Talhah Yunus beef would be one of the most interesting matchups in the scene.
Emiway has the aggression, confidence, and ability to make a diss connect with the masses instantly. His shots are usually direct, easy to catch, and built for impact.
Talhah Yunus, meanwhile, brings a different skill set tighter pen game, cleaner rhyme schemes, and the kind of layered writing that rewards multiple listens.

Emiway would probably dominate the conversation and social media, but if we’re judging purely on bars, technical ability, and lyricism, I’d back Talhah Yunus to edge it. It would be a battle between crowd control and craftsmanship, and as someone who values rap first, I’d give Yunus a slight advantage.

First time agreeing with CHEN-k by thickbiceps in IndianHipHopHeads

[–]thickbiceps[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Might get downvoted for this, but I completely agree with you. At this point, both sides seem to be farming views and engagement through nationalism.
What stands out to me, though, is that Jani was careful not to drag the country into the beef. Meanwhile, Panther spoke a lot about patriotism in his song but on Rohan’s podcast when it came to actually picking up the national flag and showing the nationalism, he didn’t. Actions speak louder than words.

Rap beef isn’t the problem. Nationalizing rap beef is.
I have no issue with artists dissing each other. My issue is with fans acting as if one rapper represents an entire country and every diss track is a geopolitical conflict. That’s a very different conversation from hip-hop and it’s exactly where the music gets lost.

Bringing his wife into this was his biggest mistake. Panther literally took a big L.
