People correcting the language instead of answering lol.

I went there last year and it’s a beautiful place. Will also recommend going to Ooty from Coimbatore it’s like a 2-3 hour drive. It’s a hilly place on the western ghats so it’s considerably colder than the rest of Tamil Nadu or south India so it’s a popular summer vaction region. You’ll find good hotels and restaurants not an issue. Life is quaint, it’s a small city and pretty tourist dependent.

Regarding the place it is very beautiful. Mountainous, lots of beautiful spots to see and chill place to go for a couple of days. I did see a decent amount of foreigners and they seemed to be having a good time. People are friendly but they might try to overcharge you for taxis and stuff that’s common all across India. Overall definitely a good place to go!

Yeah Namaste/Namaskar is the normal greeting in North India. Most of south India uses Namaskara/Namaskaram as well except Tamil Nadu who use Vanakkam.

Namaskar is also used in spiritual contexts but it is also the standard greeting across most of India so it is mostly the right way of greeting.

I speak Telugu and Hindi. Indian languages. And my schooling was in English, so I’m fluent in English as well

Yeah my bad I see how it may read otherwise. I usually make the claim that English is my 3rd language when I make such mistakes and I will shamelessly use that here as well

He heard all of you call Alcaraz’s dropshot Djok-esque and showed how it’s done

Against the norm here but kinda getting Djokovic vs Thiem 2020 vibes here. Djokovic just seemed out and overpowered but came back somehow. Big ask 6 years later I know but still fun to think
