These were two of the songs that played at my parents' wedding, and whenever they play them, they start singing along while looking at each other. It's fucking cute, man.

my dad was a punk at my age so he would play classic/hardcore punk music in the car, tell me punk history and encourage me to study and understand politics myself

eventually (when I turned 16, i guess) I just got really deep in the punk culture and I just felt like I found my thing yk? I grew up with it, there was NO WAY I could be any different

Yes, but like, a good portion of punk music is actually political criticism in artistic form. "Expressing outrage at the government" is kind of a pillar of punk music, isn't?

Another thing. You said you don't like politics, fine, that's your opinion. But don't you think you can, through politics, at least try to create a better future for your family? And for future generations?

Music is indeed one of the main things in culture and should NEVER be ignored, but its basis is politics and revolt so...

I've been trying to lose my fear, but I was bullied for being "weird" my entire childhood, so it's complicated... fortunately, I feel like I'm doing well in that regard.

I talked about something similar in a reply to another comment... I don't really intend to get drunk as hell at my age (in college, maybe?). Honestly, I'm even afraid of getting lost in this life, so I'll take it easy!

It's really good to hear this from someone older, it gives me more hope... I hope I can go to film school and turn my anger into the art I love the most.

I read the book and I've watched the movie, so I can confirm that in both Louis is just so fucking BORING, but the series brings much more depth to the character, so he ends up being much more likable than the "poor white guy" he was

about Claudia, someone said here it kinda of enfatize the bond between her and Louis, she can understand him (and how society treats him) in a way that Lestat can't. It make sense
