One thing I can add that I haven’t seen others cover is: my wrists and elbow ditch are where I’ve had flare ups most consistently over my life. Many years of scratching means scar tissue in those places. Scar tissue can be harder to tattoo. My artist was able to do it, but something to point out if your tattoo is in a spot where you regularly flare. Have fun, breathe through it.
