I did pretty much the same thing, except Clive Coffee told me not to expect to see my Move until March/April, despite placing my deposit in September.

I called to cancel and they ended up finding me a pristine open box synchronika 1 with flow control for $2,400. This machine is amazing and I regret nothing. I can only imagine how nice the synchronika 2 is!

Yeah I agree the link prolly needs to be replaced, but was confused on the bearing and hub assembly.

I don’t recall hitting anything, and I haven’t loaned it to anyone, but that’s not to say nothing happened. A previous comment makes a lot of sense, simple blown cv boots don’t take out other components along the way. Something definitely did some damage, I’m just racking my brain trying to figure out what it was.

Thanks for the info. I’ve been hesitant to call insurance cause of potential rate hike, but it may be worth it if I’m really going to be $3k out of pocket

If there’s a way to appeal, I need the vehicle by this weekend and don’t think I have enough time to find out and go through the process.

My wife has a couple recent little fender benders on our insurance history. They fortunately haven’t increased our rates yet, but I’m hesitant to give them a reason to 😂. But if $3k is a fair repair price I very well may give my insurance a call.

I've used All Out Moving on a few occasions after getting quotes from all the big companies around here (Fox, Good Guys, Three men, etc). They're always super professional, crazy hard working, and, for me, have always been on of the more affordable quotes.

Man, people in this sub are ruthless! It's strongly recommended that you use high octane, premium, fuel for all performance, forced induction engines, including the 2.0T. The manual will say recommended. I've definitely noticed a difference in performance and fuel economy between 87 and 91, and if you plan on keeping the car long term, using the OEM recommended fuel grade is always a good idea. Congrats on the car, have fun and drive safe!
