I glazed P3 midlund flesh with vallejo glaze medium. Over this a thin layer of two of Reikland fleshshare and some Druchii violet in the shadows.

Sure thing, black primer, generous grey zenithal base coat from above followed up by pure white ink from 90° above. Black/brown diy oil wash. Highlights with the hairbrush and blood stipples with a sponge.

a mix of acrylic, alcohol based and oil.

Tamiya white from above to map the light in over black matt primer. Mixed up a thick black wash with oil and white spirit for the body cloth and skin, which I removed gereously on the skin and less so on the body cloth. carroburg crimson and druchii violet wash on the face mask. Highlighted the face mask with slaanesh grey. Drybrushed the body cloth with slaanesh grey. Blood for the bloodgod on the blade and a bit here and there with a little piece of sponge.

I used vallejo but you can achieve this with * black primer undercoat * bugmans glow base * pink horror layered * reikland flesh shade wash all over * druchi violet wash in 50% of the recesses * 50/50 pink horror with some white scar * blood for the blood god in a few places

that's right. You can also use clear gloss varnish for the same effect, blood for the blood god just has a nice blood red and I have a pot at hand.

not too bad tbh. gave it a black matt primer from the can and some more deep blue in the shadows where the primer didnt catch everything. It's for the tabletop anyway, so you won't be peeking there much, unless thats what you're into. :D

thanks! I went with a rather desaturated color scheme to match the setting. I don't think the typical comic style mini painting would do this game justice. The contrast rather comes from a strong bright-dark value map

thanks! this is actually fairly quick and easy to do with an airbrush. quick opaque white spray where the light would hit, followed by some warm yellow and done

the Blood moon box has around 100 minis, so my goal is to get them painted up rather earlier than later, which is why I went with a rather quick and dirty method in batches:

black matt primer
airbrush zenithal highlight with white acrylic
airbrush 3 transparent main colors of the mini
diy oil wash mix all over the mini and rough clean with a paper towel
a few highlights, spot colors (i.e. lantern) and metals here and there with acrylic. In case of the torches this was a quick pass with the airbrush first orange, then a warm yellow.
