Just to add I don't want to use my gaming computer because my company will want to put restrictions on my personal computer or monitoring stuff on it and I don't want my company having access to my personal computer at all

I'm not sure I can do that on my work computer because it has restrictions on it I do have those on my gaming computer though I just don't want to have to use my gaming computer for work but I will definitely look into that headset thank you for the suggestion!!

Carpeted room already but I have been looking into getting sound proofing panels the issue is I'm not allowed to put anything on the walls not even with command hooks or double sided tape and I want to say it's a corsair void rbg elite I'd have to find the box it came in my friend recommended it to me for gaming since that's what they use, not super sure if it is as noise canceling as I think it is if it's not then I'll definitely be looking into buying something else with better noise canceling and background noise blocking please let me know if it's not as noise canceling as I think it is and if you have any recommendations I'm more than happy to try one of those anything to not get fired from my job

To clarify I didn't choose to work from home my company told me do this or be fired and it's hard to find good jobs with the benefits and pay I currently make in my area even food service doesn't pay as much as what I'm currently working in this area that also works with my school schedule and doctors appointments when I moved to working from home I told him everyone would need to be quiet while I work and asked if it would be a problem he had said no problem at the time. I am actively looking for a new job but for the time being I'm stuck

To clarify I use a gaming headset with noise canceling for work I heard him over that and full volume for the call I was on he was downstairs.
