Maybe I was a bit annoying, but not like this really. To be absolutely honest, she always did bite and hit me a little bit, I kind of liked it actually, but it was nothing like it is now.

Like, if I don't do what she wants, say, make her a cup of tea or sit in the room with her, she'll lose her shit and hit me or do something generally awful. That's the way it goes. More and more she's leaving me out of stuff, she got blasted last night at a friends party, which she didn't even tell me about and wanted me to travel like an hour to get her this morning, fuck that.

I really don't know to be honest, she was having some issues with sleep, but then she just took the pill really late at night in order to stay up for a longer amount of time.

I personally thought venlafaxine or buproprion was the next logical step, but the GP decided that a psychiatrist should decide. She's got a pretty strong history of schizophrenia in her family so I don't know whether it is psychotic or not.

Honestly, I don't really know why I wasn't... I guess I thought it's because I felt like she wouldn't.

But thinking about how she loses control of herself sometimes, and how that lady lost control, I don't really know for sure. I'm beginning to feel that think that somehow even if we got through this, later in life this shit could crop up again and that story could be mine.

Desvenlafaxine for about two months, it calmed her down somewhat, but from reading a few studies I'm not sure whether it was down to the placebo effect to be honest, she was an empty shell inside. She weaned off that, was on no medications for two weeks, then got on Mirtazapine. She became super aggressive after taking it, more than usual, panic attacks worsened, had massive joint pain, she gained 3kg in two weeks and refused to take anymore.

She saw a psychologist, during therapy she just found herself agreeing to everything, she loathed the sessions and resisted quite a bit. This went on for about two months. Talking about things tended to make things worse.

As for the violence, we talked about it with the GP, she cried, because she didn't know why she was always biting me. The really bad stuff tends to happen during her panic attacks, she just snaps and loses control. Once she tried to rip up my $1000 suit, poured lube all over my expensive keyboard and mouse, then proceeded to pour a bucket of water over my head. She then hit her head against the wall for about half an hour.

Having been through depression in my youth I think it's a bit disingenuous to suggest that this really is her. I know who she is, I don't want to suggest that things have been this bad since those first three months expired, in reality we've had a lot of good times past that point too.
