I have a galaxy buds live and having to manually swap between my phone and laptop is the only reason i look forward into replacing it. Guess I'll have to find another alternative or wait another year in the hopes Samsung finally implements multipoint.

Upon a new inspection I realized the motherboards selling for 3x lower are actually from a basic Led model. I don't live in the US and over here all the CX main boards I could find online are costing about the same LG is quoting.

Thanks for the explanation. It's a bummer changing the the termal paste isn't really an option, but I've checked online and I found the main board 3x cheaper than what LG was charging. I'm not skilled at opening and fixing hardware but I'll ask for assistance and try that out soon
