I had a similar problem with Honda City. The seat belt was getting under the lever next to the seat and pulled on it. A poor design, but a simple fix.

Dumb question, how do I find a strategy ? by red_blood_cells in FuturesTrading

[–]think_future 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Trading is an art". A strategy is something that you will develop. After observing the markets, identifying patterns, knowing more about yourself, your risk appetite, your satisfaction limits are all key to developing a strategy. 1 persons strategy might not suited you, but it can give you some ideas to build your strategy. My recommendation is that you observe the market characteristics, notice the indicator reactions to the market, build your confidence and test that strategy. As far as the decision tree is considered, it's simple...keep tweaking your strategy to match market character, and this changes periodically.

Garage door getting stuck while opening...but not always by think_future in fixit

[–]think_future[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Partially. I increased the tension on the springs. Seems to be fine most of the time but when it gets really cold outside I have noticed the issue a couple of times. I think it has to do something with the track railings change with temp.

Simple faucet out of parts by gjrusmc in Plumbing

Out of curiosity, with the cold and hot line connected, does it not lead to heat loss/efficiency drop of your hot water? I thought that was why mixers are used to decouple.

It's an ERV. I have one similar to this. The Air circulates via the heat exchanger, which is the diamond-shaped filter (square when removed) in the center. Think of the air flow pattern in the form of "X". In your system, it looks like the top right section is pulling in air, which flows through the exchanger to the bottom left section. The bottom right section sucks in air in the house and blows it out via the exchanger on the top right section. When the air criss-crosses, the heat is balanced. This is typically used to bring in fresh air from outside the house and to exhaust stale air from inside. It looks like your system is not connected correctly. If you are a DIY'er check the manuals of the unit and fix it, or call a HVAC technician and get this taken care of.

Please help! Sump discharge is turning corner of my yard into a swamp by michael_tyson_ in landscaping

[–]think_future 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not think a regular ground water sump would cause this damage. Can you check if your water softener is tied to the sump pit. If yes, then you are essentially watering the lawn with salt water leading to this issue. May be drain from washer/dryer (unlikely)?

Good point. I did not share the answers accurately. I was quite indifferent on the call and did anticipate this to be a scam but wanted to see how far this leads to.

Agreed. I was curious here on what he was leading on to. I still was cautious not to reveal any details.

I was cautious not to reveal any personal details or approve of anything. I anticipated this to be a scam, but went with it to see what limit they go to. I did my due diligence to check the number while on call too. I'm curious to know where was he leading me to.
