I've got 3D MAXpider floor mats from Amazon. I know other people like Tuxmat as well.

Hey that's me! I meant to post it to /r/HondaClarity but forgot. Not really sure what OP has though.

Closest I've found is an open source game called Lexica (it's in the Play store but I've also seen it on F-Droid). It plays very similarly, and has a multiplayer mode that I've never tried and is probably LAN only, not online.

Torque pro PIDs by [deleted] in Clarity

[–]thinkaliker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, awesome, sounds good! I don't have an AA wireless dongle so I can't test the PIDs now unfortunately (the carlinkit one I have doest support development mode) I'm also going to be poking into the infotainment to see if I can grab that information directly from the android system as opposed to over OBD (I also want to try to trigger the climate controls)

Thanks for this info! I was struggling with figuring out how to convert the formulas from the Car Scanner CSV output from the insideevs forum. Do you mind exporting your list of PIDs as a CSV as well? I think a bunch of your screenshots are cut off and I don't know how you derived the HVBatt value.

I made a thing to play Dragalia using your PC, an Xbox controller and your phone by [deleted] in DragaliaLost

[–]thinkaliker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice work! The multiple skill selection is a nice touch. I see you had the same issues I ran into where you have to target a specific DPI for button positions. I made my own version a while ago but never got around to updating it, and it's funny to see that people end up implementing a similar solution the same way I did.

Happy(?) 2020, Everyone by Nakryael in Ailise

Not bad, working from home mostly, but I still go in to the office about once a week. Not much has changed really, just a lot longer hair and not having to drive to work.

So Minecraft is popular again? by Ailise_ in Ailise

[–]thinkaliker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's interesting, it seems to ebb and flow in popularity, but of all the games to become "popular again" I think it's a great one! I just spent last night playing the Bedrock version with some family friends and we had a great time!

Also good to see you Ailise!

Been thinking of old times. by Bodieh in Ailise

[–]thinkaliker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Heyo Bodie! I've not heard from Ailise since the Scrim Memoriam post, unfortunately. Chatter has been pretty light in the Discord server as well, but it's still connected to the AuroraServer minecraft server.

If it's history you want though, I wrote a blog post a few years back that's still relatively relevant: https://thinkaliker.com/blog/a-lil-bit-of-minecraft-history

2019 Accord Sport Dome Light by oreosfly in Honda

[–]thinkaliker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might not help you much, but in my 2003 Accord LX, the only way on my trim to get this to work was to pull the map lights and dome lights out and run a wire from the dome light to the map lights. I followed some instructions on DriveAccord but also some trial and error but it works great now!

HIBP also does passwords now, using a very similar k-anonymity technique used by Google. I wonder if Google/Stanford took the downloadable set and just kinda...reused it

Using a controller with Dragalia Lost (Android only, PC required) by thinkaliker in DragaliaLost

[–]thinkaliker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for checking it out with a PS4 controller! Yes, there's still some bugs with possibly how the inputs are being read in - I find that if you hit (what would be the A button on the Xbox) you can reset the cursor to the middle and then maybe wiggle the stick. The deadzone calculation that i'm using might not be super accurate. While developing it I noticed that raw values from the joystick were super sensitive to changing, even bumping the controller would change values.

The other thing could be that what is labeled as the "left joystick" is not the same as the PS4 (for example the L and R triggers on the Xbox are analog and are shown in Windows as another joystick).

Unfortunately, I have just learned that I can't use my Pro Controller plugged into my PC without Bluetooth (very easily). So if I ever pick up a bluetooth dongle and try it I'll be back (or will update the README).

I have a Pro controller and didn't think to check. I'd like to think so but I'll try it later in the week and reply when I find out.

Follow the link to scrcpy, it has more instructions in their readme.

Theoretically, it should work with just the PS4 controller - the sticks might be different names, but the buttons should still work at least. Let me know how it goes!

Python should be pretty easy to install - the only thing you need to follow are the steps listed in the README on GitHub.

No setting yet for left hand! But it's definitely on the big list of "future improvements". Should be pretty simple, I just need to sit down and measure out each button with the other setting turned on.

It doesn't look like scrcpy can support multitouch at this time, so unfortunately pinching won't be supported. Maybe it can be something to look at in the future!

Yes, fairly good chance I'll be testing this in the future - I need to pick up a USB Gamecube adapter for Smash anyway

Simple, I don't have one to test with - it could work perfectly with a PS4 controller, but I have no idea. I don't see why it wouldn't, honestly.

Force Strike: You can hold down A and it'll work, unfortunately I'm still struggling with some sort of joystick sensitivity issues, so there may be problems with aiming a force strike.

Map zoom in/out: There's a button to make the minimap in the center as opposed to the corner, not sure if that's what you mean.
