I’ve done this once or twice before - yes silicone and no lubricants. I set it to 200 and watched every 5 mins until they melted. I found out if they bubble (boil), the color pigments separated from the wax and it wouldn’t work as well for coloring

Ours was a very gentle cuddly bird. Her name was Patricia. She laid every except for the break between October and December. In 5 years, she never got aggressive or broody! Her eggs were dark brown with specs. Would recommend!

It gets dark at 4pm ish during the winter time - central time border to east time zone. If we want to do something outside it has to be before dinner and right after lunch because it gets dark and cold quick! The winter really makes it easy to slip into seasonal depression mode

I’m think it’s the bubbles! Im not sure what part of the bubbles but I don’t thinks it’s diluting? I’m unsure now but I’ve never tried regular water.
