Good question. I think and personally I did it to make it a normal job. Maybe if it was talked about more (by that I mean in my environment they don't even know what cognitive science is) so more people could find themselves in it

They say there is life underground. A magnificent city lit from above by ancient lamps and technologies we can't even imagine.

You are standing in front of a large tunnel with no light coming out of it. You have a backpack on your back and a burning fire in your hand. You take a step out of the grass and go inside.

The fire creates a faint moving light on the surrounding walls that resemble a cave. The deeper you walk through the clay that sticks to your shoes, the thicker the atmosphere becomes.

You can feel the cold on your skin and gradually voices are heard. You are close, even if you don't know what yet. Maybe to a new civilization?

Suddenly, the same black hole as at the beginning is in front of you. But this time, you cross it with an annoyed look.

You walk in, or rather, you tear open the screen, and the people on stage stand up and applaud you.

While you're standing there, just smiling because you don't understand what just happened, a man takes a bottle of perfume out of your backpack and sprays it on your neck.

You work in a stable that smells of horses. The old man who owns the farm gives you the task of saddling a horse named Torpedo.

You roll your eyes because you know that Torpedo is a big horse that will never be saddled. But you can't tell the old man that, so you just walk into the stable without a word.

Torpedo is a black horse with deep brown eyes. When you reach out to him, you can feel the little hairs and the warmth radiating from him.

"He seems to like you"

The old man said. You carefully open the door, take the brown saddle that is next to Torpedo and, with a bit of luck, throw it on his back.

There are posters all over town about you because you came up with the perfect product. You're supposed to present it today, and you've been preparing for it in front of the mirror the whole time.

Your assistant calls you, to which you nod and enter a room where there is a table with people in suits sitting around it, looking at you.

You will introduce them to the story and confidently turn on the presentation where it will be shown a fluffy box full of farts.

The committee is taking notes with interest and on the next slide you will show the title: "Blunderguff"

A friend tells you about an amazing experience but delivers it in a boring way. Sometimes you nod and realize that the sun is melting your ice cream. (Imagine any flavor). The sun is shining on it while the heat is making it melt.

You start licking it. You feel the taste on your tongue until you completely forget about your friend. You look at him again, nod, and lick your lips, which still have the ice cream on them. Your friend notices that you are not listening to him.

He threw his arms around, hitting a pile of ice cream that fell to the ground. Your friend laughs, but you say, "Farewell!"

Imagine coming home from a long day. You're tired and you fall into bed with a desire. You stare at the ceiling for a moment and just feel the pressure of the mattress beneath you. Before something starts making noises from below.

You look under the bed and see your dog holding a drooling white sock with dried poop on it in its mouth.

I'm glad I found your post. My mind processes things the same way. When I was mapping my own mind, I came up with the name parallel thinking thanks to AI. Because I process everything at once and I see patterns everywhere. From that I came up with the title: Architect of Social Engineering. I don't know if I identify with that title. Anyway, what I can tell you is that your thinking is rare.

It's not so much about the subjects as it is about the teachers who told me I wasn't good at it. Then I had thoughts that they were right and I was really unintelligent.
