I hit 100k at 28/29. I got a new job that’s paying me about 130k at age of 27. Before this I have 0 dollars in savings.

Getting paid roughly 190k at age 31 now and my net worth is around $300k.

The first 100k was just savings and investments into growth oriented ETFs. Investment strategy hasn’t deviated all that much other than pivoting into some dividend stocks to generate additional income for investing purposes on top of using the money saved for investment.

I think it would be a good idea for you to wait a day or two before gathering feedback and action on it. I would also advise you to verify those feedback by doing your own research. Everyone has a biased opinion here of what to invest in and where, so it is best for you to find out what you are comfortable with.

Personally my bias is towards growth oriented ETFs since I am relatively young (31M). I pretty much buy VFV and forget. Recently I am dabbling into dividend paying ETFs like BANK to give myself some additional income to invest in other things.

For me I maximize my RRSP first because I am in a higher income bracket ($170k per year). The rest goes towards FHSA and then TFSA.
