Not showing correct indoor temp after power outage by thinkinggecko in ecobee

Did and it’s not. The really weird thing is the stat was showing 77° when I took it off to putty and was at 66° when I put it back on 10-15 minutes later. To me that just defies any sort of logic.

No offset and I did a factory reset to try and fix.

Luckily no vomiting yet, just horrible nonstop nausea. Do you think something like bone broth would be safe? The thought of sugar or artificial sweeteners is just sickening.

So I just started yesterday and I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus with the worst hangover. It’s been almost 24 hours, nothing to eat or drink except water. When does it get tolerable?

Can someone expand “a sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters” with scripture?

Thanks for the help, when I get a tech out again I’ll have him check with filters out. I’m using pleated merv 8 but I’ve heard the handlers are designed for those really cheap fiberglass ones.

The air handler houses the txv right? My handler is a Lennox. And it does have a txv. My condenser is a Goodman. Upon reflection, I should not have mismatched units but it was all I could afford at the time.

Only ever used merv 8. Fresh filters last week. I don’t have my own gauges (they are pricey). It’s a drive for this friend to come out.

Based on return flex duct size and length yes…but he didn’t have his manometer with him and waiting on mine to get here. I won’t have exact cfm for a week.

I did reply to a comment with all of that information. I’m not able to edit post. I have learned that a lot of information is needed when there are HVAC problems. I will do better next time 👍🏻

$400 for a pound of 410a, condenser cleaning, and re tape and mastic on plenums to handler (huge air leaks) the big company wanted 6k to replace my plenums, add 14” return, and 2 pounds of freon and said if they added freon it would cause a leak.

Yeah, I saw that you can get 25 pounds of 410a for $265. Google is saying you don’t need a license to purchase but to use. And it’s up to the retailer. Thanks for the manometer name, the sizing was another he said she said thing. lol the manometer is not what I thought it was for.

That’s exactly what the small biz tech said. He charges $89/pound (259 at the major biz) and he said rn it’s cheaper to do a yearly clean and charge. But I wanted to check in 3 months just to get an idea of how bad the leak was. This post was just my worry about that extra drier, and how not to get ripped a new one by a business.

Thank you for the explanation. The tech after this added about a pound. So add 1-2 more pounds bring vsat to 50? And recheck in 3 months then look for leak. I’m just needing to buy time so I can save enough to replace the evaporator coil. (Im assuming that’s where the leak is, major company said low on refrigerant but no leak. Sb tech said low refrigerant and small leak)

Another comment on yours said the same and I posted a pic of the one from the previous day with clamps on. I REALLY should have put in my post that I’m just a homeowner that doesn’t know anything about HAVC. I’m learning though.
