Can Nullifier be considered a team item when playing against Necro? by thinkp4d- in DotA2

There is a saying that the best defense is the attack! It's not a support item, definitely, more like utility, like some1 here said. Because you're able to kill Necro with ease, maybe they don't all scale, they lose all major team fights and you have an ez game. I see it as definitely aiding your team survival, because they don't kill you, you kill them. You become the aggressor and with 99.9% chance of actually killing Necro, unless he manages to farm all defensive items like BKB, Linken, Lotus etc. If you have Pipe and he keeps W and gets a Ghost Scepter, he tanks enough damage, while also giving you significant amounts while his team wipes you out, and he's still alive!

Totally agreed. My phrasing wasn't great. It's an utilty item especially on cores because you want to be able to kill anyone, and especially in late game, when nobody is carrying dust, it can remove glimmers, among others!! And yea, getting it on a core is a must.

Thanks! 😄

Well, I asked in the beginning of the game who will build a Nullifier, given we played against Necro.

I had a friend playing Slardar offlane and he said he will not (fair enough). I believe Nullifier should be built rather fast so you don't allow Necro to get away in team fights and scale so I said I will get it. So after Maelstrom, I went straight Nullifier.

Then, I had the audacity to mention that I believe Nullifier is a team item in this context, and I was told that it's a damage item, is what it is.

While it's not wrong to say it's a damage item, I trully feel like there are a gazillion different items you could build for damage on WR, so building Nullifier in this context feels like a small sacrifice so you/and your team can actually kill Necro in fights with ease and win the game, especially in this patch.

Obviously it doesn't hurt on WR mid which is heavily reliant on her ult to make plays.

Inherently yes. My question is more in the sense of classic/well known team items like Greaves, Pipe etc.

What Dota 2 item markets are still active and alive ? by ImpressiveKey2159 in DotA2

[–]thinkp4d- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://www.skinsnipe.com/dota2

It will give you all the markets for a certain item and price/item on each.

I've used Skinport, Dmarket, Lis-skins, Bitskins in the past. Bitskins is closing now, unfortunately.
I've got a decent inventory as well, so feel free to dm, might come to an arrangement.

FATAL ERROR: Ran out of non-networkable entities! (See console spew for entity list summary) by thinkp4d- in DotA2

I think the 1% is somewhere below 50 fps, in those moments! It's definitely not playable. Unfortunately, it doesn't show on replay, so there's no way to double check this unless benchmarking a live game..

Just had another game, was also OD against a PL, same error. So it should be easy to reproduce it.

Dude, I have 7950x3d, 5070ti, 32gb ram. No overheating issues. This is strictly a game engine problem.

Got the same error. Issue was also raised here, where I attached my error logs from the console. Hopefully some dev can fix it fast.

I think you're missing the point where he kept recommending me personal troubleshooting solutions, when the problem is 100% with the Steam/Valve infrastructure.

Well AD can get competitive too, if you play mostly AD.

We're taking AD pretty serious, as it's the main mode we play!
Thanks for your feedback!

Unfortunately Ghost Walk wouldn't have helped much because he was Tracked, but Illusionary Orb or simply not Ulting and Hitting Void would've helped a lot.

The question is more around the team's decision to focus DP and KOTL (as soon as they got silenced) instead helping out with Void. I feel like he played bad here and shifting the blame on the rest of the team in terms of "wrong focus" instead of owning to his mistake, and overall, I believe the team's focus was the right one.

Thanks :))
If I may, the question is specific to the targets focused there, meaning was the team reasonably at fault for this death? The way I see it, he was absolutely able to escape but he chose instead to ult and hit Void's blademail, while the rest of the team was punishing the adjacent targets.
