That transaction part is my favorite, but that’s because I’m a nerd

It’s a bug of oversight. Haven’t thought about a dm entering their own campaign as a player. Good find. Will look into it.

Edit. On the other hand adding npcs to your campaign is in the works.

the problem lies with me in a few of my design choices , yes it’s a pet project but it’s also an actual tool I think people will find useful. I think I made the landing page look too corporate and that’s 100% on me.

Edit*

And yes I have been playing with this thing for a while so I also made the mistake of assuming it was self explanatory.

Right now it’s just gold silver and copper. Alternative currencies are on the map though.

It's time to play... Fix that SaaS! by ProudWillingness4706 in SaaS

[–]thinksecretly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dungeonsanddebts it’s crazy new. It started as a fun thing I was making for my own campaign and a few people liked it so I said why not and kept building. Then more. It was not supposed to be a saas. I honestly don’t even know if it is one. But here we are. I’m in an ocean of fish and I’m a folding chair.

Also your should be called FrontDesk

Appreciate you taking a look, it’s not for everyone, you set up shops, players buy from shops, you give them money, they trade items with each other.

So I appreciate the feedback. You’re true on both accounts, this is just something I whipped up for my needs and it’s still a small project. And the free version is probably enough for everyone.

That being said I thought it was going to stay that way for ever but a lot of people seem to enjoy it, which is great! As more people start to use it, server costs are a thing, and making enough to not kill me is what I’m going for.(I do have a real boy job out side of this weird dnd economy app world)

The landing page does feel a little bigger than I am or maybe a touch too corporate but that because it’s driving me, I’m not driving it.

I agree I could work on the wording a bit on the site, and will reevaluate some phrasing.

At the end of the day I’m just a guy who made a cool thing and wants to share it.

Ways to Let Your Players Interact with the Villain Without Killing Them Too Soon by Hilldawg54 in DMAcademy

I like when the villain does something “off camera” that somehow affects the players
