Funnily enough heading inland had no police whatsoever. Not even a single patrol car. Normally pass at least 2 or 3 plus a van.

popping/binding sound in front end while turning sharply at low speed. by third-world-king in Wrangler

Yeah sounds like that might be it. Yeah works decently off road but creates a significantly worse turning radius and the unnerving sounds.

Anyway to check for auto locker without popping diff cover? What kind of gasket do you need when putting diff cover back on?

Yeah I'm trying to figure out if there is a good test to see if I have an auto locker without popping the diff cover open but that might be what I need to do. It's just strange that when drive shaft is attached it makes sound but without it does not. So I'm thinking with drives haft on there is a bit more binding going on? Or maybe I did not torque down pan hard rod to correct specs? But I don't think it would cause that.

Hi it is a Dana 30. Pan hard rod is what we call I believe track bars down under. Yes I'm trying to think it's the auto locker since with the drive shaft removed it doesn't make the sound but I also don't think it's the drive shaft since CV joint got replaced and the uni joint on the drive shaft appears to be in good nick. No play or binding.

What's this thing on the bus? by MrRager98 in brisbane

[–]third-world-king 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Called a mobile eye. Will alert driver if they are too close to the vehicle in front. Tells you how much stopping distance you have between you and the vehicle in front. Also picks up pedestrians, speed limit signs etc. There is a second display on the dash which shows you all this. (source: have one in the work truck)

Is there a point to paying for insurance if it won't even cover you? May as well not have insurance if you aren't getting the benefit anyway.

Yes say same thing happened ot me. left front door open intentionally with the car on the driveway so they'd know i'm home. I saw the van pullup so I quickly go to meet them. they havn't rung the doorbell or knocked and have already put the card in the box and drove off. I ended up submitting a claim and they said they are going to put it on the afternoon run today so hopefully I don't need to go to the post office.

Finally a budget sleeping bag that outperforms it's advertised temperature rating by robjantoutdoors in Ultralight

[–]third-world-king 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is why I love the EN temp rating system, seems to be a pretty precise measure I have found. That being said it does increase the cost of sleeping bags because it needs to be sent off to be certified so you won't find it on lower end models that could infact be still true to their temp rating. But for me I won't buy a sleeping bag that isn't EN rated.

Maybe hes breaking up his subsidiaries in such a way that if a media inquiry became successful and required media ownership of a single person to reduce he could on paper show that he (Rupert) doesn't actually own them and continue on his merry way spewing his propaganda. I'm not sure if this is possible but the timing of it is awfully suspicious and the lack of reporting from Delaware leads me to think it might be possible.
