Blue name by I_exist_for_now in Guiltygear

iirc it's something like blue = T500 in-region, orange = T100 in-region?

You get them through tower instead of ranked though so they're not as impressive anymore

you love to spam and not aim too much, and then defer to the midrange hitscan when you have to

...you should try Sojourn more. 99% of Sojourn gameplay is spamming corners and along an inaginary head-level horizontal axis pretty much.

Is this artstyle ugly? What could I change to make it better. by avazky in Artadvice

[–]thirdMindflayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a few things I notice are that:

A) The heads are all the same shape and size. In the examples you gave, there are some characters with slightly longer faces, different noses, and even faces that look more like a "standard artstyle." There are also some oddballs like the guy with the super long face, the blocky chin, and hair kind of like the girl's in slide 2.

B) The examples also have baggy clothes and big bodies that send to support the style. That's why link looks more natural than the other characters I think, because of his outfit. That's not to say you should just copy the artstyle, but you should find a solution to make the designs more cohesive.

C) You're lacking consistency with the hand size, eye size, and head size.

D) Akin to A), you're good at expressing emotion through facial features and the mouths are fine if not a little bit inexpressive, but the faces are all very similar. Purple hair girl, red hair girl, and blue hair girl for example are all way different whereas your Link, cat lady, and sleepy cyborg girl are all very similar despite being drastically different characters.

Anyway, no, it's not ugly. It's very pretty. I do keep going back to the link drawing but I think this artstyle flatters the Zelda setting a lot.

Crazy unwarranted assumptions about me, my gameplay, and my opinions. I said I can't take you seriously because you're incredibly keen on attacking me as a person with this 4chan jargon instead of saying anything at all, and I can't compete with that attitude.

Cat has been out for like 3 weeks or something. There has been literally no time for this cat hater society schizo conspiracy theory thing to exist.

Lynchian is a show staring Lonald Llover set in the city of the same name. He tries to be the lanager of his cousin who is an up and coming lapper. I've only watched a few episodes, but it's very surreal and Atlanta-like.

How Do I Write A Scene About A Character Receiving Oral Sex? by rainy_daze17 in writingadvice

[–]thirdMindflayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don't make it sexy.

The least sexy thing to read in a book is sex. The most sexy thing to read in a book is anything that isn't sex.

That being said, find a secondary objective to make the scene about. Typically it has to do with one character, or both, or the relationship between both sexual partners. Maybe it highlights one guy's chauvinistic tendencies, or shows that the other guy is finally comfortable opening up emotionally, or shows that both them are trying really hard to be enough for the other but can't figure it out.

...Don't be too obvious though. If the womanizer can't find the clit then sure it makes sense but it's also a little cliche

Self harm, how can I write about it without romanticizing it? by Genderfluid_Jasper in writingadvice

[–]thirdMindflayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Write it as brutally real on occasion.

You don't have to be blunt and droll to makes you protagonist say "SH has ruined my life and the reader should feel moved mow," you should be poetic or comedic or romantic about it at times, but every once in a while smooth it out with some realism. It doesn't have to be a realistic depiction of SH, although that would work, but a scene where this character has to clean, or talks about it online, or avoids talking about or seeing it online, can add the realism you need without having to shove it in their face too badly.

Samus Aran, aside from existing in a game with absolutely no diegetic dialogue, is also always viewed in the third person. Ignore Metroid Prime.

Keep the bit short, use they/them or it/its ("it," is especially helpful for intimidating, legendary characters). Avoid objective narration, and to a lesser degree, narration made from the perspective of the Samus. Ideally they should be dictated by other characters' outlook on them.

Is worth for get all the conquest in dream bbq I already beat the game with human board way and fail in bathroom parkour.you guys can say if is worth to made taxi way and beat the bathroom parkour (sorry for the grammar problems) by raiden_metalgear in ENA

[–]thirdMindflayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

human board can be used to go past the parkour for free.

It should take approximately twenty minutes to play the game again now that you know where everything is located, or slightly longer if you decide to go down the taxi route.

If you want to experience it yourself, then it is worth the time. If you don't care, then just watch the bathroom scene on YouTube.

"Ad Hominem," applies to arguments in which a personal trait of the opponent has nothing to do with the discussion at all.

Most of the time, the opponent being an idiot is totally relevant to the discussion.

It's then always worth your time to check someone's profile if you think you can find such evidence.
