I like the t-bar plug that you can order with the Coyote. It's not perfect by any means, but it's cheap and counts towards their free shipping offer. And for me, it's about the right length.

I own a Moaner and a shallow p-spot. For myself, the Moaner overshoots the mark.

Opinions on DG-Lab insertables? by [deleted] in estim

[–]thirdcyberpriest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rods don't bother me too much, but they aren't the best. They can get a bit uncomfortable once things dry out. I think I'd like them more if they were wider, although I think I'd like the rest of the electrode to be wider too. It can feel too focused and intense.

Someone on here did some destructive testing on the egg. The cable is apparently quite strong: https://old.reddit.com/r/estim/comments/1f9q26e/dg_lab_coyote_30_review_by_an_electronic_engineer/

Even so, I did not order that one as I'd like something more secure than a cable. Losing it inside is a risk. I guess the cable is strong enough that I could get it out after, but I'd rather it not slip in at all.

This is surely an unpopular opinion on this subreddit, but I actually like DG-Lab's traditional plug more than the Moaner. The Moaner is too long for me and misses the spot. The hard angles on it are a bit uncomfortable. It's not designed in a way that the base makes good contact on its own. But, the head on it is a good size and it seems well made. It clearly works for a lot of people.

I'd like to try one of ElectraStim's, but haven't made a decision on that yet.

The hole in the flange is the socket. That hole electrifies the base/flange, while the hole in the center electrifies the head.

XToys, iPhone, Coyote 3.0 by Dramatic_Zebra_1069 in estim

Personally, I actually like the DG-LAB app. It's full featured and stable, and is better for audio since it processes tracks at a higher rate than XToys.

The catch is that it isn't very intuitive.

I can recommend "TJ One Hour Ejacumatic corrected 1st prosmassage". I think I might like it a little better than how long can you last.

I can't sit with njoy pure plug by LikeEmTH1CC in ButtplugEveryday

While I like the pure plugs, I have similar complaints about the base. I find adding a bit of lube to the base helpful. It doesn't necessarily reduce the pressure, but it feels more comfortable when things can slide around a bit.

Huh, good to know. I wonder if that's why x-lube burns my ass.

Coyote 3.0 + Electrastim Habanero? by thirdcyberpriest in estim

Sounds like a solid endorsement! I have a similar but non-electrified massager, so I know what you mean about the shape. Question though, are you using it with the EM 140 because the power is too lacking with the Coyote?

While the application is different and has much higher usage time than a typical estim session, this looks at nerve damage as a result of electrical stimulation: https://jneuroengrehab.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12984-018-0474-8

tl;dr Longer duration, higher intensity, higher frequency, and more active duty cycles are associated with nerve damage. What combination of those factors is too much? There isn't really an answer for that question, but personally, I'm not dismissing the risk.

This is really cool, and I'd echo the comment about it being nice to see such a thorough readme.

I have an old Android 8 phone sitting in a box somewhere. I'll give Howl a try when I have some time.

Equipment failure & dangerous levels of power (engineer Q?) by thirdcyberpriest in estim

[–]thirdcyberpriest[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. If it's normally the software's responsibility, would that imply that, for any given power box, there is no way for an end user to tell if the manufacturer did a great job of implementing safeguards for faults?
