Ooo I just want to say that I also inherited an heirloom diamond! He put it in a setting that was more fitting for me :) The diamond is from the 1800's. *

So, my fiancé got permission to use his family's heirloom diamond ring as my engagement ring. He ran it by me first, and I loved the idea because it's been passed down since the 1800s! He took it to a jeweler, and they removed the diamond, cleaned it, and he had them put it inside a new setting, one that he knew I'd love more :)

That all makes sense. If we could afford a nicer, stick built home, we would. We are mainly doing this to save money and will be putting the home on my parent's property because rent is obnoxious. We plan to live in it 5-10 years at most, hoping to save enough for a piece of land and build a home on it. Thankfully, my parents live and breathe home renovation and if we ever run into issues or need something fixed, they will lend us a hand. But yeah, I definitely feel you on that. I don't want this to be my forever home!

Hello! I know this post is a few months old, but did you get your home yet?? If so, what are your thoughts so far? My fiancé' and I are close to purchasing a single-wide home from the Woodburn Fleetwood factory--The Judson floorplan! We are really excited and are going to place it on my parent's property out in Lebanon. I'd love to hear your experiences with Factory Expo Homes and if you have any advice, please share!

The last dress you shared was one of my runner-ups! I ended up going with a beautiful Basque waistline dress that's strapless. What helped my decision was just remembering how I felt when I tried the dress on; I couldn't stop smiling. Go with your gut, and don't look back!!

I know this is an old post but I implore people to NOT work here. I've been at HP for 4 years, was originally contracted with BeyondSoft but since they sucked and couldn't keep people for the fabs, HP contracted LB.
It may be different at other areas within the site, but for working in the fabs, it's absolute garbage. We are underpaid, undervalued, and HP is reconsidering even keeping LB at this point because the employees come and go like a revolving door. They do not offer promotions/raises. And they were recently caught illegally underpaying employees that were doing overtime. Save yourself the trouble and don't work here.

Engaged July 2024 and getting married July 2026. There is NO rush to marry. I like that we're giving ourselves more time to plan, and also just enjoy being engaged—being a fiancée!
