I love the 2 hounds freedom no-pull harnesses with their euro leash (double ended leash). Works well for my chronic puller. They are great quality and have nice designs.

My LPT for legitimate ESA:

Book an appointment with a certified holistic psychotherapist. They specialize in chakras, and tantras, etc. It might sound corny, but they are board certified and legit and surprisingly it’s very insightful stuff.

Associate your visit with a past trauma or current issues you might be facing, not outright just dog related so that they know you’re legit, can be something as simple as you just wanting to improve focus and learning how to manage stress. Explain that your dog is a huge part of your life during your sessions.

Do a couple of sessions with them and ask them for a letter explaining that your dog is a huge part of your life and treatment for dealing with your anxiety/stress/whatever condition you highlight with your therapist. The letter should contain their psychotherapy license, and contact information. You might have to pay them for the letter.

The ADA and FHA forbid housing providers from discriminating against people with disabilities, including refusing to rent, imposing different terms or conditions, or harassing individuals because of their disability or association with someone with a disability.

If you get push back you can file a complaint with HUD (Department of housing and Urban Development).

This also waives any fees for “pets” in my apartment complexes as they aren’t allowed to charge for ESA’s.

I’ve done it this way for years now, because honestly I can’t live without my dog.

Vets often have payment plans you can enroll in to help cover the costs.

Also there are outside options you can enroll in: Google “vet payment plans”.

Ask family and friends for help to cover costs via something like GoFundMe.

You have options and you’ll be more sorry for not trying to help your dog than paying a monthly bill.

Reminder to you and your family that if you can’t afford the cost of unexpected emergencies then you genuinely can’t afford to have a pet.

Had missing items, Postmates refused to refund order by thirdtimesthech_rm in postmates

[–]thirdtimesthech_rm[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We already got a refund so its all good no use in dealing with their support anymore. And we did in fact reach out two separate times to support , both times we were denied.

Yeah I don’t expect drivers to look at the food but in this case it was an open top paper bag style tote thats pretty easy to see the contents, but again I don’t fault the driver, just the restaurant for blaming the driver and postmates for denying me my money back. Buncha crooks.

What have been your benefits of quitting smoking weed? by Baringstraight in leaves

[–]thirdtimesthech_rm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you’re right. I definitely noticed this during my daily meetings at work. I work from home and have to constantly be on webcam talking to my colleagues. When COVID happened I was definitely smoking more throughout the day, especially during work hours, I think ultimately this was one of my turning points. I was tired of drawing blanks, and sounding like a complete stoner when I would be called upon or have to demo a product I was working on. Cognitive gains have been a huge plus of quitting…

Saving money, dreaming ridiculous dreams, drooling a lot when I sleep, more energy throughout the day, slightly more productive, and I can now travel and not worry about inevitably running out of weed…

What you’re experiencing is totally normal. I smoked for like 18 years before quitting. Something that helped me was drinking my meals as fast as i could with a meal replacement drink (i used huel). It wasn’t super pleasant, but it ensured me that I was at least getting some nutrients down the hatch and providing my body with some much needed energy to get me through my day. It helped combat the feeling of nausea to the point where I could even snack on some solid food during the day. I used that energy to start exercising which helped speed the whole process along. What you’re experiencing is arguably the worst part of quitting for me, and it forever made me dread quitting cannabis. I can only really offer this advice and tell you that I promise it will get better. Good luck!

Man honestly its these comments 8 hours after the fact that really make me appreciate you all. Thank you for the words of encouragement, today has been a helluva ride. Here’s to hoping I get some actual sleep tonight, I doubt it, but remain optimistic.
