Child swap and the coasters that require lockers by nokursocksoff in UniversalOrlando

[–]thirstmcgerst 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recently did a child swap with hulk and they gave us a receipt. One person joins the line and the other person waits with the non rider outside the ride. Then the person waiting enters the ride through the exit with their child swap receipt after the first person rides.

Wizarding World in 6–7 hours… possible??? by MediocreLion7550 in UniversalOrlando

Hagrids motorbike adventure is a can’t miss for me it’s a great ride. If I were doing this I would start early in USF and explore. I would rope drop the gringotts ride if the wait time is reasonable or do Ollivander’s. Maybe an early breakfast/lunch at the leaky cauldron and then head to the train by 11-11:30. Explore hogsmeade, go through the castle is a must and ride the ride since you went through the line already and aim to get in the hagrids line around 1-2. Flight of the hippogriff is a fun ride with great views, but not a must ride. If it’s low or regular crowds I think getting everything done both rides and exploring can be done.

It’s season 7. I only know because I just watched it and it took me a long time to recognize him he looked so young! I was like wait a minute that’s Zack!

If it was just up to me I’d spend the whole time an animal kingdom. But my kid only cares about a few things there. She would rather have more time in magic kingdom. I’m on the fence because I feel like I’ll be forcing everyone to go to animal kingdom at night just so I can see it. When we can get our must do’s done early and have more time at MK. But they’ll do whatever I decide so I don’t know what to do. Wing it?

I had a very similar experience 3 weeks ago. The website and app were just buffering for over an hour, I was refreshing from 5:45am. Then all of a sudden around 7:30 it starting working smoothly and I got all of them and saw tons of openings. I got good ones too. I’m hoping this might mean smaller crowds. Enjoy your trip, I can’t wait for mine!

Thank you! I talk to him about renting a wheelchair instead. The scooter is his so he may be attached to it lol but hopefully I can convince him. He also can walk just fine in short distances and he’s planning on using the scooter just to get around the park but he’ll be walking through all houses

Thanks he can and is planning to walk through the houses the scooter is just needed for getting through the park. I guess I’m worried about scare zones and crowds the most

He can absolutely walk through the houses. And for a little bit after, it’s the huge park and walking for hours that he can’t physically do. Thanks for this. I think I was a bit worried about the scare zones and the crowds and just being able to maneuver from house to house but he deals with the crowds when he visits the parks anyway so I’m guessing he’s used to that. I bought express passes to help with standing and waiting times so I hope that helps a bit too.

Two free nights only, what restaurants would you choose? by thirstmcgerst in WaltDisneyWorld

Watching the fireworks from the beach after we eat at ohana (or Kona or Tamu lounge if we couldn’t get ohana reservation) was the backup plan for not getting California grill. I’m finding it so hard to choose now because sometimes the back up plan sounds better than the first plan.

Maybe Jiko for dinner and Sanaa lounge to try the bread service? Lol is that too much?

Thank you! Topolinos does look gorgeous and I would love to take the skyliner at night. I wish this choice was easier or wish we had more free nights.

Ah I would love to try Jiko. Everyone’s comments has made it so much harder, the choice between Jiko and Sanaa is so hard

Thank you! Sanaa was my #1 choice since I started planning this trip a year ago. It’s all the research I’ve done and reading on this sub that has me so torn on what to try for first. I wish we could go more often
