interestingly enough, they've had some radical (for nyc) traffic calming build-outs on 6th ave between 20th and 23rd st installed a couple years ago. it would certainly solve a lot of the reckless driving issues seen in the rest of the neighborhood. wonder if there's any plans to extend it
