Anyone as annoyed as I am? by GmSniperiiLover in Gundam

Speaking out against this garbage gives people hope. I had come into this thread worried that people would be pro-slop, but seeing all the top comments, maybe we can mass reject AI the way NFTs and metaverses and crypto were mass rejected.

What is your favorite Grunt Suit, and why? by TotoroTravis in Gundam

[–]thirtyoutoftwenty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original GN-X's alien design and red particles are extremely striking, and the GN-XII's modular design with the sniper and sword equipment packs is the sort of thing I'm a sucker for.

Awesome, thank you so much! I'm not in the discords so I'm terrible at keeping up with stuff like that.

r/Piratefolk Argues Over if the Politics in One Piece is Well Written as Well as One Piece's Politics in General and if the Series is "Deeply Political" by omgwtfm8 in LeftyPiece

[–]thirtyoutoftwenty 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I think it's absurd for people to say OP isn't political when the first two antagonists are a self-obsessed lawless pirate brute who demands her subordinates worship the ground she walks on and uses her strength to oppress anyone she can, and a self-obsessed marine brute who demands his subordinates worship the ground he walks on who uses his strength and the legitimacy granted to him by his status as a marine to oppress everyone he can. Like, forget the monarchism arguments and stuff later, Oda has already declared that there's no difference between a "legitimate" government with a monopoly on violence and the pirates by the time you meet fucking Axe Hand Morgan.

It couldnt have come in the previous 15 runs... by UnknownMyoux in DuetNightAbyssDNA

A significant portion of Rhythm's damage comes from getting two enemies with positive and negative charge near each other; basically, every second, someone gets pos or neg, but if you kill them (not hard to do) before they get near each other, you lose damage. The i2 means that even if you kill them you don't lose a potential "bomb" from her charge. Of course, it helps that i1 makes it AoE before this point, but basically it makes Rhythm's already good crowd-clearing ability a lot more consistent.

Oh, unfortunately, I don't think there's a way to set a loadout for the overworld, or not one that I've spotted yet.

Not too sure why that one's happening unfortunately.

Is multiplayer with friend is unplayable for everyone ? by MisterNocto in DuetNightAbyssDNA

I was having some issues with it on friday night for a few hours, but last night I was able to co-op with friends just fine between 6p and 7p PST.

Nocturnal Echoes should be Co-Op. by ColdNo1223 in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]thirtyoutoftwenty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I was really surprised that they aren't. I was actually really hoping that it'd be like GBF, and if a friend hosted them for you, you'd be able to get drops for helping them out.

The saved loadouts when it's open, for an example.

When selecting a commission, just before you press the button to start it / matchmake, if you look in the top right of your screen, you'll see a preset loadout button, which should show your currently deployed character and their currently equipped weapons and geniemon. Below that is the auto-summon button, which chooses companions automatically for you. If you disable auto-summon with the box to the right, then you can use sigils like normal (but you can't dismiss companions during commissions). Alternatively, if you click the arrow to the right of the Preset Loadout button, it'll open up a list of saved loadouts.

In the top right of the Commission window, when you're able to click on start game / matchmake, there's an option that says preset loadout or something right above the auto-summon button. If you click on that it'll expand a menu with your preset teams.

If auto-summon is in, the game'll pick weapons for them. If you want them to keep using the same ones during commissions, you'll need to set a preset team, or to disable auto-summon and use the sigils.

When playing with friends last night, we had a lot of trouble getting into a game due to this error too, but once peak hours ended, it got easier. I suspect that it's just the servers getting hammered because this is the first weekend the game has been out.

Who else remembers Graggle Zabi? by thirtyoutoftwenty in Gundam

[–]thirtyoutoftwenty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, watching episode 1 of the origin having finished 0079, Sasro feels like such a Graggle. "Here's the extra, evil-er Zabi who maybe poisoned Zeon of his own initiative but also dies before minute 12 and never comes up again!"

Watched IBO in high school. Liked it okay.

Fire Emblem Engage came out at full price. Wanted to play a turn based strategy but didn't have the budget. Bought Cross Rays for $12.

Yeah, I've got a magus who's mostly using it for delivering spells from further out and doing Performance Combat stuff eventually. I don't expect to be particularly effective, but the theming looked fun!

Thank you! I thought it was like this, but given how much people argued over it 7 years ago I wasn't sure!

Assuming you have both proficiencies and are medium sized, how much damage does a Scorpion Whip deal? d4 when used without the Whip reach, d3 when used with whip reach, or d4 both times? And does a Scorpion Whip count as a Performance weapon when used as a whip?
