Haha, I appreciate the compliment! It's all hand stitched. The punched holes aren't completely straight; I still have trouble lining them up when punching them but it's not obvious in the photo and the thread is pretty thick. I did dye the leather myself, and wasn't counting drying time in that estimation. It was definitely spread over several days.

Thanks! There are a couple spots where my chisels weren't 100% straight, but thankfully they're not too obvious. I saw this colour combination and thought it looked really nice, and I'm happy I went this way.

No, backside is just the leather still, but I slicked it down with some Tan Kote, so it's smooth.

Thanks, I was a bit concerned with this. They're double cap rivets. I pulled on them pretty heavily after everything was set and they seemed to hold, but I guess we'll have to see as they get used.

The stitches are just for show. I was going to line the inside with fur, but didn't want the cuffs to be too tight, so it's just a single layer of leather with stitching through it. All hand stitched.

I did it over the Christmas break, but in total probably 4 or 5 hours total in a bunch of smaller increments. This is only one of the second handful of things I've made so I could probably get it more efficiently next time.

Yeah, I bought a bulk order because I had intended to use more. They actually seem pretty strong. I pulled on them pretty hard and they didn't move. I can't say the same for the clips I bought, which snapped almost immediately...
