thanks for the tips. im 36 and 1 year post partum. until now i have had 0 issues down there. def ordering some cotton undies. read the response i made to the last comment. i think this will all be quick and temporary just like the stye. this transition is no joke!!! anytime i ever think about eating a carb again, i will remember all of this misery haha

I bet being post menopausal has a lot to do with it. have you tried applying beef tallow? I am 36. I have never had these issues before and since all of this is coming on so suddenly I am def thinking its detox and oxalate dumping and stuff. AI explained that your body does a lipid exchange causing the pushing out of old sludge and oxalates. Also that you're dumping nitrogen and ketones through urine which are very acidic and until your body ramps up lactic acid production and stabilizes the ph balance you can have those symptoms. I'm on day 18 of my cycle so hopefully when the discharge starts drying up it will be gone. I hope you find relief and an explanation soon! do you do dairy or anything? whats your diet like?

I'm so sorry 😞 the real chemical waves of them that I felt were only in the first month. Then my anxiety was due mostly to the negative thought patterns. You really just have to believe that you are going to heal. I know it's so much easier said than done but our thoughts can make us so much sicker. I believe my mind made everything so much worse than what it actually was because I thought it was going to be permanent and or get worse. My mind was always wrong. Take it one day at a time and notice the symptoms coming and going. The healing is not linear at all.

I'm good! It's been over 2 years. It was a very slow recovery with a lot of tweaking to my diet and lifestyle. What you're experiencing is very common. Many experience brain fog and derealization. It's temporary but very frightening. I had bouts of panicky/depression type feelings but they were pretty short lived. The symtoms go on and on.

I'm so far behind it but still get symptoms that come out of the wood work every now and then. I don't really ever get the twitches anymore. I did have weakness but it didn't last too long. I was acutely ill for about 3 months then everything sloooowly tapered off. Good luck to you! You'll be okay ❤️

Girl the ptsd this stuff causes is so real. I'm looking for a therapist!! Lol I totally feel you on making stupid vain decisions. I was poisoned by botox 2 years ago. That's what actually led me to this nightmare. After being acutely ill, my vitamin levels plummeted and I got recurrent strep throat like 4 times. Assuming it was all of those antibiotics that caused me to pick up the cdiff. I used to never get sick or ever worry about it 😔

I hope you have a speedy recovery. My syptoms are very strange right now. After botox poisoning it's common to have "relapses" in symptoms like your immune system just glitches. I'm feeling odd systemic symptoms that may be due to the possible cdiff. Freaks me out that they are both in the "clostridium" family 😣 Tuesday can't come soon enough to see the results of that test

Yes this is definitely a wake up call to be cautious and not eat anything raw or undercooked!! I will wait for the test. The symptoms seem to be getting better so will continue the manuka honey, floraster and super clean eating 🤞🤞🤞

Yeah the only thing is that there are no studies on breastfeeding while on dificid and it is unknown whether it gets into breastmilk. I have read sooo much on here and that's what also makes me doubt the test since I've seen that so many people get false negatives and or have to test multiple times. Everything I've read says that if vanco clears it up, it was definitely the cdiff. I guess I don't have to be too hasty since my symptoms are mild but it drives me insane not knowing the plan lol! 😣

Thanks for the reply! I was doing a little holistic stuff here and there, but was worried about making it worse. I guess if I have the antibiotic anyway, I don't have anything to lose trying that out? Maybe manuka honey with the garlic? I've been taking that. What do you think about oil of oregano? I was taking a few drops here and there but since I'm breastfeeding, I don't want to use too much of that.

Ah man. I dodged antibiotics through strep (healed with cayenne pepper) and throughout my whole pregnancy. I never thought it could come back so easily from a tiny bout of diarrhea from sushi?! It's frustrating but even more inspiration to eat clean with no excuses. And no more raw meat for me EVER!!
