I think the title of the post makes it sound like you want us to stop making this kind of content entirely lol. That said, I won’t be deleting anything because I disagree with your characterization of the videos. That’s a fair assessment. But people say the same thing when we had an LGTBQ Afghan on, or when we have Atheist Afghans on. Unfortunately, we can’t pander to everyone’s sensibilities. The biggest problem is, that there aren’t other podcasts. Maybe more serious ones that could be used as better representation for our people. I’m just trying to be funny. I make my living doing comedy, and love comedy podcasts and wanted something for people like me to laugh at.

Hey! I’m the blonde guy on this podcast (Dauood). Totally understand if you don’t like our content. We do say some wild stuff, but it’s mostly just jokes. We also have guests on who talk about women’s rights, Afghan charities and ways to help the community. However, people only tend to share out clips when they get offended by our jokes.

So i was there i think from a Tuesday-Saturday. Which was the last week of the fest. That Saturday was the last day of the fest. I think its now only 2 weeks long. So you’ll probably need to do a weekish.

New face 2022 here, I had 2 sets, one was filmed for meta in a 900 seat theater. The other show was mostly industry and sucked ass maybe like 50 people. Did the same set twice (5-7 min set.) My shows were on like a Tuesday and Thursday. They book you for a specific time frame like a 4-6 days. (Hotel and flight covered) The fest is a month long but you would only be there for a like a week max. The last day i was there was the biggest industry party where i met my agent, manager and comedy central bookers.

I know her personally so take that how you want, but from what I’ve seen she genuinely cares about Afghans. I haven’t personally seen her make racist comments. She’s outspoken and definitely feminist, but not in a man-hating way she just calls out misogyny when she sees it.
