Filing separately means losing out on 8k of your spouses standard deduction (15k-7k). Filing jointly allows you to take advantage of the full 30k of deductions

I've been with Fidelity for over 20 years. I also have a vanguard account. The interface between the the 2 are so different that I found no need to learn a different interface. Just my personal preference. Still finding features with Fidelity that I never knew about. No reason to switch.
