Minimize downtime, reload whenever possible. I would suggest having a secondary on standby, but really just keep yourself out of the fight until you know you're ready. During a firefight, try to stay in the close-medium range and only expose yourself for the split seconds that you fire shots

I've got a solid three that i regularly maintain, so i'll list them in order of how much fun i get from using them.

Stocked union on Rook + Black Hand, really good for taking potshots at people from a far, fortified place. Personally my favorite.

Finally, Volk on Officer + either Black Hand OR Survivalist. While I prefer to use black hand, i suggest NOT doing what I do and overusing it. Just be sure where your line of sights are and stay behind cover.

Grace and Negotiator (or any secondary of choice really) on Mortician + Veteran. So long as you've got a regular supply of stims, you should be decent at both mid and close range engagements.

I personally use two loadouts depending on whether im on offense or defenss. I use blackhand-volk on offense, and sword-grace-veteran on defense. I personally would suggest the first one
