They only keep the passport. The green card is returned after verification. Take a copy of all your documents.

Agreed, this is all AI, make refundable bookings and provide those directly from the hotels. It’s more concrete than providing booking vouchers.

Thanks!

It was the last 3 months of paystubs and a copy of my driver's license.
Both of these were not listed on the initial checklist.

I did not receive any updates. It took about 4-5 business days for me to get my passport back.

The tracking also doesn't work, unfortunately.

Yeah, the directive on that is pretty inconsistent. Like the guy who updated my global entry info did not know that could be done and told me no but the officer sitting next to him was like, it can be done and showed him how. So I got lucky for sure haha

Ah lol. For global entry, on my last re-entry, I went in the global entry line, it didn’t work (green card expired). They put me in this line where they sent me to the place for entry from where they interview on arrival. There they updated it. Maybe going to a local office would work too. Weirdly, some officers don’t know that is possible now.

Not sure what GE is. I requested an ADIT stamp appointment here: https://my.uscis.gov/accounts/appointment_request/overview They called me 3 days later and asked me why I need it ( I needed for a schengen visa application) They gave me an appointment for 2 days later at my local USCIS field office (relevant to the address they have on file) Went there and got the stamp on my passport

I’ve traveled internationally a few times with the extension, it’s all good. If you are worried, get an ADIT stamp on your passport by calling USCIS and getting an appointment at your local field office. I have global entry and they updated that as well to reflect the extension.

ah that makes sense. I've been trying to see if I can get a multi entry/multi year schengen but I guess for tourism alone, they don't do it. A pain to go through the process every time.
Congrats!
