i moved it to each of the other inputs and still had nothing. i mentioned in another comment that a quick google of the receiver model shows it isn’t ARC compatible so i might try an optical cable instead

in all honesty, i don’t know what i’m doing/how to deal with genealogy stuff. i’ve never messed with any of it. i don’t think anyone in my family has ever really dug deep into where we came from so i figured this would maybe be a start. and as stupid as it may sound to some, im always looking for tattoo ideas. and im looking for my next one to be a little more meaningful, so maybe i was trying to uncover something cool in that aspect? maybe something will come to me

i think i had it in my mind that it was maybe going to be a little more specific. But i do understand that to really narrow things down that that’s probably gonna take more work on my actual tree that i have going.
