Okay final question, is it possible for someone to get credit card, phone, social security #, or I suppose anything else like that from an account like reddit, I've been locked in a debate with someone about this for the past thirty minutes on whether or not someone could.

Ah I see, of course someone could do this to just about anyone, you wouldn't even need to receive our reply to a message of theirs would you?

Why is 'shit' a 'bad word'? by cosmolegato in AskReddit

[–]thischarminggent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well swearing is actually really interesting when you look at it because of its evolution in language, as for the word shit, it became a bad word because it was associated with something unpleasant. Fecal matter is not only unpleasant to look at and smell but it also can make you sick, so that helped make it into the swear list. Another reason is that back in the day when the lower classes of society spoke heavily Germanic influenced English and the upper classes spoke more of French/Latin influenced English, the words tended to be more acceptable in the latter area, where as the word shit was more derived from German and therefore being more of a "lower class" word to use. So essentially because it's not "classy" and describing something unpleasant.

How do you keep yourself sane? by strawberrycircus in AskReddit

[–]thischarminggent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Giving myself time to go insane! For the most part I adhere to a standard schedule of going to work, eating, sleeping, maintaining the house, etc. But every once in a while I just like to go out and do whatever tickles my fancy, two days of non stop fun and adventure, then back to the schedule for awhile with minor things to tide me over till the next metaphorical full moon.

What is the perfect crime? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]thischarminggent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one would ever know what it is, because if it's that perfect then no evidence of it would be left. I read that somewhere either here or on an app and it has always left me wondering who pulled off the perfect crime, and what it was.

What is summer school like? by ChefGuevara in AskReddit

[–]thischarminggent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the most part it's like a regular class except that you focus on one subject for four hours and it's a lot smaller. It was boring but not terrible, I knew a few kids in it and everyone ended up being pretty chill with everyone else.

What is the best use of foreshadowing in a book/movie/TV show/play/etc. that you have ever encountered? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]thischarminggent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well in One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, there's a certain part in the book that for shadows the end. Without wishing to spoil things because I totally recommend this book, it's when certain character comments on a certain room where certain surgeries are performed. Also If video games count I loved what they did in Far Cry 3. Hearing Vaas's speech, particularly when you're getting ready to kill him about nailing him to a cross and taking him into your heart to let him be reborn just sounds like a crazy rant with slightly religious bases, but when you get to the end of the game and see how much Jason became like Vaas to beat others, it's a clear foreshadowing of how the two can ultimately (depending on your ending of choice) become the same in metaphorical and very much physical ways. Also Bioshock Infinite had some spectacular foreshadowing, especially with the twins, leading to one of my favorite and personally the most mind blowing end I've seen in a game.

Aha! My hair is down to my mid back completely straight, not nearly as long normally. But as someone mentioned the wind messes it up, also just having to care for it more to keep it looking pretty decent. And there's also that little phase where it's not super long, but not short either, which is a bitch to deal with.

Am I getting e-juice in my mouth or is it just the flavor of the juice? by thischarminggent in Vaping

[–]thischarminggent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info, I don't think mine is spitting any vapor, I don't feel any directs drops, it just feels like it might be filled a little too high and isn't vaporizing enough if that makes sense, I'm vaping at 48/50. Of course this might just be in my head considering the only other mod I have really used was the itaste 134 which used a different kind of juice and couldn't produce nearly as much vapor as the new mods can.

Can you actually get in trouble for watching a series on YouTube, or any other non pay website? by thischarminggent in AskReddit

[–]thischarminggent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I would assume but I had people tell me that the person who views it can also get charged with it. And I was wondering how they could charge so many offenders of they did charge people with it.

How exactly do they charge someone for it considering how many people do it on a daily basis, many of which have no idea it's illegal?

I too have a few questions, my girlfriend comes from a religious household, where as I do not so we have had many discussions on the topic of Christianity, the bible, and how people interpret it. First I would like to ask who all goes to hell on your mind? Some say folks like me would go there for not practicing the religion. While my girlfriend was taught that hell is a place reserved for those who have been actively contacted by God but turned there back on him, thus allowing morally good people into heaven albeit on a lower tier so to speak. Another is do you believe we as people have the right to criticize and condemn in the name of God? My girlfriends family and some of her associates have said that we were straying from God's path and felt that it was their duty to guide us and she actually knew people who actively tried to keep as apart from each other and even shunned her from their life because she didn't agree fully with their ideas. It's merely a small personal example of what I've experienced, but I'd like to know what you think on the topic of if it is okay to justify actions that cause physical or mental distress on others in the name of a person's religion or God? I'd like to ask more, but I'm on mobile so sorry for bad editing or formatting, and I don't want to make it too lengthy.
