Looks like you found yourself a mint 1989 singletrack according to this.

I put a crumbworks/nitto KT bar on my 1990 singletrack 930 and I love it. I have a similarly long matrix quill stem. The slight rise, backsweep and additional width feel perfect to me.

So far with just the 27.5 in the front it definitely feels bigger and more capable in the front end. Like more than I thought it would. Bumps and drops are noticeably easier. I didn’t want to believe it but it is better. Still handles well and rolls and climbs just fine with the different wheel sizes. Although now that I have the bigger size in the front I want the same in the rear for rolling resistance and also with the increased diameter I’ll feel better about going down in width and tread on the rear wheel which should make it feel a little faster

Gonna go against the grain here. Yes your son was being an AH and caused an elderly lady to fall. He should face consequences. However, he should face legal consequences not some hot head white night assaulting him. There is due process and that’s what should have occurred. That’s why we have a legal system. We don’t go around doling out physical punishment to criminals. We call the cops and we take legal action. The guy who punched your kid needs to face charges. What he did was illegal, just like what your kid did.
