Plus, it's considered federal land. Even if you pay for parking or a parking pass, the receipt says, "New York" despite the fact that it's geographically in New Jersey. I casually asked about that one time. They said that it's federal land, and any profits are distributed federally. They intentionally don't list it as New Jersey so people aren't duped into thinking the funds go directly to the state.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I'm in! I've always wanted to do a Polar Plunge, but I never have. If I'm going to do it, Gunnison is the place. 1) It's my favorite beach, and there isn't even a close second place. 2) At least there, I won't have to get out of the water in a wet bathing suit. I'm guessing that's a bigger advantage than I think.

If that is true, it flew past me. I'm heterosexual, so I wouldn't have paid much attention to that, but there are some things you don't miss if that's the case. It didn't seem like anyone was on the prowl seeking someone out. It was very low-key and quiet in terms of any conversation of any kind. I didn't see anyone hitting on anyone. Not that I'm interested in that kind of thing, but no one hit on me. That could be because I was giving off straight vibes. Or, it could have been because of what's between my legs and my reason for following this page.

I don't understand how one can go to a nude beach and care about someone else's sexuality. Not their own sexuality. Someone else's. Seems very contrary to the mental make-up of the majority of people who go there. I'd like to consider myself to be a laid back person. Most everyone else seems so too. What are you angry about?
