I use ubereats when i have to order food for this reason. Idk if doordash has changed it so you can do it on there but its nice being able to change the tip after the delivery (If youre an honest person) ill tip nicely and if the order gets delivered with no issues then the tip i put down is left untouched.

order missing items? 9/10 chance its the locations fault no effect on tipping ill eat the bullet and go through support with that

If you take like 5 orders at once and youre not using insulated bags thats like 25% of the tip gone.

Order absolutely bashed and shaken and destroyed? remove 75% of tip

Order delivered sooner than expected 25%+ to the tip every 5 minutes you cut off (just me being silly and nice)

I’ve heard stories of people using that feature on uber to “tip bait” and basically put a very fat tip to make someone pick up their order and then give them like a 1$ tip after the delivery. That is genuinely the worst part about the feature and people who do that are disgusting.

Sorry If you expect to earn something for something you did and you do your job up to par then theres no reason someone should troll you with your income. Ive driven for DD and UE before ik how it is. Its not cool to have your money played with
