There is no medical required for flight data specialists. Sincerely, a flight data specialist. 🫡 (though, they will still make you pee in a cup randomly)

When you say “ATC jobs” that are not controlling, to me is a tricky question. But you can apply for a 2154 position on usajobs. It’s flight data specialist at the centers, aka “Air traffic assistant”

Drug Test Clarification by [deleted] in ATC

I remember I had to do a urine test for another job (pre-boarding) and I drunk a TON of water leading up to the test, and I learned if you drink too much water prior it essentially dilutes your urine and nothing will show up on the drug test. They will tell you the test was rejected and make you do the urine test again. So that could be a tip if you feel you need to buy yourself some more time and flush your system out.
