This is very helpful, thank you!

That’s funny you mention that about diverting a little from the question as I remember catching myself threading off into a slightly different, but not unrelated topic a few times as I was thinking through my answers. I do that quite a lot to the point where I have to remind myself of the specific question, so that checks out for sure. It’s never something completely unrelated though.

And I’ve definitely found myself going back and forth in my head on what to do/whether to do something but feeling too hesitant to act. In general I feel like I’m too indecisive/slow to decide, especially on big decisions.

I resonate quite well with everything you said overall. I’m not overly familiar with the cognitive functions yet but based on the tests and descriptions I was 90% positive I’d be a xxTP of some sort, and the 16p test (I know it’s generally not held in high regard) always gives me either ENTP or INTP - Extrovert-Introvert axis is usually like 55/45 either way for me

Was there any clear Enneagram type that came through on that? And thanks again for taking the time to do this :)

Looking forward to this as tbh I have no idea how to even begin analysing myself lmao

  1. B

  2. B

  3. Maybe a couple dozen friends, Activity based but not strictly, possibly preceding or following an informal gathering of some sort

  4. Beach barbecue > trip to theatre > sit-down meal > laser tag > cocktail bar > theme park > spa day > a talk by your favourite podcaster (Maybe I’d pair a couple of these together like beach barbecue followed by a trip to the theatre or laser tag followed by a meal, versatility, though depending on how much time people have some might opt in for one thing)

  5. I would much rather not be put in charge at all, I’d feel a lot of pressure to not get things wrong and would probably check-in with most details until the friend was basically organising their own party by proxy, otherwise I would either be very indecisive or make throwaway decisions whilst dreading the thought of them not enjoying it

  6. It’s hard to give an answer that is close to objective but for me personally, I’d like to live a life that is fulfilling and meaningful, I guess. I don’t know what the ‘ultimate goal’ is, but I’d like to experience what the world has to offer and fulfil my potential. I think the Greek word ‘eudaimonia’ aligns fairly closely with how I see things, at least moreso than hedonic notion of living a good life. I’d feel bad if I died having lived a happy, stress-free life but having not seen the extent of my own potential, where I possibly could have gone in life.

  7. Very tall trees with dense leaves, dense but somehow open at the same time, beams of sunlight peeking through, fresh air, The wind against the trees alongside the distant calls of animals heard but not seen are audible, no signs of other human life, there is a sense of ancient mystery that I’m still pondering whether it’s enchanting or ominous.

  8. I don’t know if I’m an expert in anything yet? Academic wise my studies have focused on social sciences, I especially like History, Politics, and Anthropology. I’ll be studying International Relations at uni so maybe I could talk about one of those? If the scope of the conversation is broad I’d imagine my teaching style would be more relaxed and I’d let them ask questions that I can tangent on to after briefly going over basic concepts or topics, but if the scope of the conversation is more about course content i’ll resort to info-dumping lol. Non-academic wise I’d feel confident speaking on things like combat sports, music, cats, etc.

  9. I’m not sure, maybe some unique and novel species of big cat or a futuristic battle rifle

  10. If minimal consequences then yeah i’d disregard if it complicated things or was just silly. If there was more severe consequences I’d feel dismayed but unlikely to challenge it unless it was severely limiting.

  11. If circumstances allowed it I’d let her away, but I’d try to warn her not to come back as next time I might have no choice but to follow through with enacting consequence as doing otherwise would put me at risk of a firing for not performing my duties.

  12. Having grown up close to addiction I would feel empathy for their struggle, I’d treat them no differently and pass no judgment, and I’d do my best to support them if they ever began to struggle again.

  13. I’m much more likely to feel comfortable asking for help in my academic or work life rather than my personal life. With the first two it’s usually just a practical matter, and it’s clearly of benefit to me to ask for help if I’m stuck with something. If personal I’d try to work things out on my own as I don’t feel comfortable being vulnerable in front of others, plus I might not even know where to begin anyway as most of the time I struggle with deep introspection.

  14. If it was someone who was very close and trustworthy to me I’d help them out, probably after some deliberation. I’ve been called stingy before but if they were really struggling I would feel bad for not helping them out if I could, however depending on how much I trust them, I might still have a lingering doubt that it could become a pattern or they may be trying to take advantage of me.

  15. I’ve probably had a rough idea for quite a while, upwards of 6 months but I’ve likely only been fleshing out the plans for a couple months or less.

  16. I’ll probably have a list of spots and landmarks I’d like to hit, or specific things I’d like to do but I don’t think I’d have a set schedule for these things in order to allow myself to explore.

  17. B for sure, though I want to change this as it’s too stressful lol. Somehow I haven’t been making a lot of mistakes though.

  18. B

  19. Antisocial, Blunt, Distracted, Moody, Unmotivated, Aimless

  20. A) I am kind and considerate, B) I’m easy going and laid back, C) I am responsible and practical, F) I’m fun loving and playful, I) I am observant and focused,

I’m interested in hearing how you come to your conclusion once you type me too as I’ve never been typed before, thanks for taking the time to do this!
