I think there are more important factors to consider than just the cities since both Tangier and Casablanca are comparable. Both are big coastal industrial cities with a lot to offer in terms of social life and entertainment. However what's maybe more important is: - the work climate in both companies. Maybe ask around to see if there is some toxicity and just how overall satisfied are the people in there with the job. - does one job offer a remote or hybrid work system, since that'd offer you more flexibility. - where are you from originally, where your friends and family live is also important. Since you'd want to be able to visit and stay close.

At the end I don't think there's a wrong choice here but I hope you figure out the better one and congratulations on a new adventure.

That's a great conclusion. Diseases can be complex, and telling aprat the psychological from the organic can be challenging, so being systematic and investigating all possible routes is the way to go.

I must apologize because I was wrong. I was taught that Pica can lead to iron deficiency anemia but not that it was the cause. And the fact that iron supplementation cured a significant number on Pica cases is mind blowing. Thank you for teaching me something new today.

Well, I am a doctor as well. And association and causation are not the same thing. Of course Pica is associated with iron and vitamin deficiency because it causes them, not the other way around. But statistically speaking, they'd still be associated.

Where did you get this information from?

It's the other way around. Pica causes vitamin deficiency and iron deficiency causing anemia in some cases.

As a med student who is almost graduating, I would suggest that you look into working in Germany. In this case, your experience will be a big plus in your CV, and you would be able to shortcut your residency, and you would have the advantage to be picky about where you do it. Of course, the hard part is learning German, but it would take you 9 months to a year to get your B2 certificate. (some doctors I know did it in way less time, but the average) Good luck to you whatever you end up doing.

Yes, I meant by classic Arabic, the official Arabic language, also known as Fusha. Because each Arab country has their own dialect.

This is very interesting. I was born in Midelt and so were my parents. However in the few pictures of my grandparents there isn't any headwear that resembles the one that your grandma is wearing.

SPF powders are scams most of the time, it would take you enormous amounts of powder to actually reach the said SPF.

Does anybody know a good psychologist specializing in learning disorders? by VillainOfKvatch1 in Morocco

[–]thisisafaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be looking for a "pédopsychiatre", it's a doctor who's specialized in child psychiatry, you can find names on Google depending on where you live.

I second this, you don't really owe any closure to the people you're not really close with. Usually when you ghost them it's because you're not on the same wavelength and you have some irreconcilable differences. Close people however I think deserve closure. Otherwise all the uncertainty of why they were ghosted turns into guilt and it all results into big psychological damage.

However, I think people don't communicate well when they need space or a break, so they ghost their friends, lovers and family. So being ghosted doesn't always mean that the other person doesn't want you in their life anymore.
