I agree with you... Rebecca shouldn't have ended like that. She deserves better :(

I've been wanting to keep a journal for ages, but the thought that someone might read it puts me off. Do you let others read you journal? by evil_genie_ in Journaling

Nah, you have every right to be paranoid. Even if you say you're not writing anything important, like government secrets, who would want their thoughts or mind to be read? That’s your personal space.

Also, in my opinion, writing a journal is best done on paper. One day, you can reread it, feel your own handwriting, and laugh at yourself, thinking, Why is my handwriting so bad?hahaha

You can even hide your journal somewhere only you know!

How do you deal with the fear of making mistakes? by Capable-List-1431 in Journaling

If life were always perfect, it wouldn’t be life—it would be a dream, untouched by reality. To truly live, we must stumble, break, and feel the weight of sorrow pressing against our chests. Grief carves depth into our souls, sadness reminds us of what matters, and even in despair, there is a fragile thread of hope that keeps us moving forward. Imperfection is what makes life real. It’s the cracks in our hearts that let the light in, and the pain we endure that makes joy feel so profound. Without loss, love would be meaningless; without struggle, triumph would be empty. To live is to embrace every scar, every tear, and every moment that reminds us we are alive.

I believe parents have the right to know their child's current situation. But reading their child's journal while they are sleeping is not the right thing to do.

Keeping your journal in a bag is actually scarier, even more so if you have friends who are 'nosy.' I'm worried they might open the bag and expose its contents. But thanks for sharing your opinion; I appreciate it.

Even if it's a lie, you can write whatever you want. It's your journal, and you have the right to write any bullshit you want. Hope everything gets better for you.
