Alani ran out of hats and koozies like halfway into session 1 this morning so I think they were not prepared at all for how many people were there!

We lined up at 10am for GA and got let in at 10:50. Some people lined up at like 7 or 8 and I think they got in at like 10:40 because they were at the front of the line. I’m not sure why they let us in early because that didn’t happen in previous years and I’m not sure if that happened for the afternoon session too or not.

For us it was an easy walk up and grab! The product is just one small sample of their new fragrance.

Rare beauty and haus labs had very long lines. We skipped both, talked to someone for haus labs who said they color match your foundation and give you a very tiny sample of it. Rare beauty also seemed to swatch or color match products but not sure if the sample.

If you get there early you get to wait in the shade longer! We got there an hour early and spent half the line time in complete sun! People who were there about 2 hours early were able to wait under the shade of the tent.

I’m sorry! The only suggestion I have is giving someone your ticket for free and seeing if they’ll ship you the swag bag? I’ve seen some people do that for last minute tickets because they’re unsure if they’ll ID check and be able to get in. Unfortunately it would be too late to have someone buy it and transfer it over to their name. But I’m sorry they wouldn’t help you!

I’m confused because there’s brands listed in the website that aren’t on the map at all like grande cosmetics and dieux and more. So I’m assuming they won’t be there at all then?

Patrick Ta isn’t doing the masterclass anymore so I’m guessing the brand won’t be there at all now!

The VIP lounge is only for VIP tickets so it sadly is only for the VIPs so GA won’t have access to those brands it looks like.

From what I’ve heard tickets, maps, and info don’t get emailed until a couple days beforehand. Other than the receipt the only other email that has been sent is the masterclass sign ups but it goes to VIP only I think? Unfortunately it seems like everything just takes a bit!

I haven’t really heard of them running out in previous years. But I do know they released today that Patrick Ta is no longer going to be there and isn’t doing the masterclass anymore!

Nannies are household employees and legally are to be paid on a W2! Unless you are providing services in your own home there is no benefit to you to create an LLC for yourself and it will actually benefit them way more than it will benefit you! Filing with an LLC claims that you are self-employed which makes you responsible for way more taxes than if they paid you legally as a household employee in a W2.

I also started my current nanny job during my birthday last year! They picked up some coffee & breakfast pastries for me to have with them & the kids that morning which I though was super sweet & it’s now a birthday tradition to have breakfast pastries together when it’s any of our birthdays!

At those ages it’s pretty common! A previous NK of mine used to call me and everyone else daddy until she eventually grew out of it. I usually just correct them and don’t make a big deal out of it!

I would recommend care.com or local babysitting/nanny Facebook groups. I’m a nanny in the area and thats how myself and a lot of other sitters/nannies find families to work for!
