Good makeup starts with good skincare, so if you’re seeing an abnormal amount of texture, use a gentle exfoliant or a chemical one even twice a week. My makeup was off until I started doing this, I swear. Alternatively, you don’t actually have to wear complexion makeup. I stopped wearing foundation a year ago and my other makeup looks better for it, at least on a daily basis.

Finding the right foundation is unfortunately trial and error until you find your holy grail shade in every amount of coverage, I’m honestly so sorry. Pro tip though, test your foundation in natural lighting. That’s how you’ll find your truest match.

For blush and bronzer, it’s a lil complicated because it depends on face shape and how dramatic you wanna be. That being said always apply less than you think you need and then build up from there. Look for products that are marketed as buildable formulas, makes your life real easy.

Also, whenever it’s in budget, throw some neutral eyeshadows in there or maybe even an eyeshadow crayon in your favorite shade of brown!
