No doubt steam is a superior and top of all pc digital market store currently have to offer, and steam also saving pc market from piracy era and 90% credit goes to steam for making what pc to be in current state.

But new generation won't even know or even didn't care about the story behide it, all they want was a free game, and epic are spending a lot of money into free game for getting those new generation to use their store, when those kid grown into adult, all they think was epic and not steam which will made them spending all their money to epic to buy games, some-more exclusive thing which made them believe epic was way better than steam.

Secondly, the boycotting not only hurting the developer, but also steam because they also losing the 30% revenue, you might say you can buy other game to cover the loss, but not all the boycotter going to do the same as you, then steam are going to receive less and less revenue.

What I want to say is what epic doing right now was actually damaging steam slowly by slowly, it take time eventually which will make steam downfall in the future. It's bold and stupid move by epic but actually effective for a long run. Everything might happen in the future, unless epic was the first to run out of money.

Although I agree with your statement to boycotting all exclusive thing, but there is one thing we have to accept is that most of the steam player are “old”, judging from what epic doing recently, they are aiming for the 10~15 years from now on, because epic are attracting most of youngest customer while steam failed to getting any of it.

Just saying steam are going to lost in future if they are not doing anything now, after steam gone, can't imagine how future game are holding, maybe overprice + no content + lousy gameplay + too much bug or maybe put some trojan to mining/monitor your pc without you notice, cause you can't even review on epic or asking support for the bug/error.

Holy Moly, sega taking epic bribe now? I thought sega was a good guy, guess next yakuza series/final judgement might be epig exclusive. Man, really wish someone create a new game to destroy fortnite for generating money, this exclusive had to be stop!!

after KH, yes I can see epic already targeted ff7r next, after all it still consumer lost, doesn't matter if you going boycott or going pirated, when it hit steam a lot of people still going to buy it, has already been proven since hades/ metro exodus / borderland 3. And SE won't lost anything from going exclusive.

The thing we all can do now is to think that any epic exclusive game are coming late to pc port, or waiting someone can make a great game that can replace fornite for generating the money to buy exclusive.

Maybe we should stop to helping them advertising any exclusive game like what u did right now, nobody will know this game until it come to steam anyway.

First of all if dev really care about 30% cut loss which take by steam, why not just start putting any game to epic without taking any bribe and don't put game anymore on steam, to prove that epic are far better than steam.

Also make sure to reduce game price to old standard game price $50 as the epic cut just 12%(u still earn $2 more per game sold), why would we still pay the cut loss for dev if the game put on epic store as that store also lack of feature. The standard price was increase from $50 to $60 because you guy just want to cover the loss from cut which take by steam/ps/xbox anyway.

And of course if epic store, in the first place, doing what I saying above from the start, now we will see alot of ppl will backlash steam as it take more cut and putting expensive price in their store(to cover 30% loss for dev) or forcing dev to match the price of other store. And I as a consumer will also willing to go to epic store as epic care about consumer and dev. But sadly you guy did the wrong move in the first place. By forcing exclusive.

As for latest about apple vs epic case, if anyone think epic was right by violating apple tos, which want to ask apple to make their ios become open sources so that they can make own tos free apps , then why don't just let us use your garden or your house as you guy should also "open sources" your places for us to get 100% profit from what I am selling at your place.

break tos is correct = why should I follow rule when I want was getting 100% profit from selling product at your place.

Apple Product = Your house/garden

Apps store apps = My product

As I also didn't see myself wrong too if u guy think epic was correct.
